When I write, I can't stop... Like, it flows. I write until I feel like I write all I want to write in one sitting. This also means, in my mind, I USUALLY can't edit. It comes out as it comes out.

I tell all my friends to just start typing when they are having trouble with an assignment, you can't get something good on a page until you start writing. I didn't know what to write for grad school apps so I just started writing my life's story, my final draft uses only a few lines & I threw the rest away. People don't like to waste time with this, but you have to to convey your ideas effectively.

I call my writer's block a Seuss noose lol. it mainly refers to that state of mind when you're stuck on structure and A LOT of words(or sentences) come to mind but nothing fits together or is SUPER irrelevant...like a weird puzzle... it puts a new perspective on the whole writer's block problem

This is why I love National Novel Writing Month so much. It forces you to write what you want to write, and forget about the quality for a while. You don't have to show people.
