  • my mother got pregnant by simply listening to this song.

  • And it sounds so good and almost original

  • where can i buy this music video?

  • I love his music

  • Boy this is one of the coldest, souding live performances I've heard in a while! Right on for the post homie!! Love it like my Broncos!!

  • So close to the studio version and his voice is impecable. Amazing band. Any dvds out ? This is real musicianship, unlike this era where memorable artists and albums are hardly counted by the fingers of one single hand. I wonder how a duet with Miss.Winehouse (r.i.p.) would have sounded!

  • I always liked Boz Scaggs. I saw him a few times back in the seventies. Always had a strong voice and put on a great show. He still looks and sounds great. As to Real singers, real instruments, real talent. What has happened? It is simple most of the real talent came out of the sixties and the seventies. That is when musicians and the bands took the time to learn their craft and write some nice, interesting, music. Everybody wants to be an overnight star today. Three chord crap and noise. MG RI

  • Boz's voice only gets better with age!!! He was wonderful at the Dukes of Sept. tour in Raleigh 2010. I loved Donald and Michael but his soulful tunes just took it to a different level. Go Boz!!!! Thanks for a great evening!

    I am a fan forever!

  • Boz's voice only gets better with age!!! He was wonderful at the Dukes of Sept. tour in Raleigh 2010. I loved Donald and Michael but his soulful tunes just took it to a different level. Go Boz!!!! Thanks for a great evening!

  • Love love love Boz Scaggs, so fricken cool!!

  • Lowdown is actually disco song by Boz Scaggs from his 1976 album Silk Degrees.

  • Thanks for posting this. I am a HUGE Boz fan. Could you tell me the name of the DVD? Thanks, BC

  • I do love also the new versione by Incognito ft. Mario Biondi and chaka khan!

  • Wheres my wine, grapes, and cheese? LOL!!!!!

  • good days, excellent rendition

  • Missed him with Michael Mac here in OZ ... Not happy now ...

  • Boz Skaggs has a timeless sound, and the backup singer on the right is SMOKIN HOT.

  • BLUE EYED SOUL

  • I think that is Drew Zingg playing the solo. He toured with The New York Rock And Soul Review made up of Boz, Steely Dan and Michael McDonald. Correct me if I am mistaken.

  • @damoose11

You are indeed correct. That is Drew Zingg on number two guitar. Also, that's Matt Bissonette on number one bass guitar (Gregg Bissonette's brother -- big time session drummer). Quite a nice collection here. . .

  • He seems like he would be a good performer to see live.

  • @MsFrankie98 he's really good, saw him with Jimmie Vaughn in Austin @ Antones club

  • Great song, but it's not quite the same without Jeff Porcaro playing the drums.

  • @artheriford Jeff was the best at laying down a beat. He is missed for sure.

  • Man, the 70's and 80's sure had some good tunes. What went wrong in the 90's?

  • Thanks Ricky ♪♪♪ Boz Scaggs for Saturday-night ♪♪ Anthony ♪♪♪

  • ooohhh yeah!

  • ooohhh yeah!

  • So smooth..so sweet...amazing voice..love this..thank you for sharing :)

  • Musicians are like other artists in that they get deeper and better with the passage of time. Except for physical limitations Boz and the boys should be better than ever and they are. I actually like the way Boz' voice has gained in rich tone. By the way, he's a very good guitarist. Listen to him on the Children of the Future album while he was with Steve Miller.

  • his voice is not as great as when he was younger

  • Those are damn sexy backup singers! I bet they could rock your world........

  • Great song love BOZ check out our westcoast grooves State Cows

  • Smooth, refined and sophisticated...I think this was at Boz' club, south of Market (SOMA) in San Francisco...He and Michael McDonald are going to have a concert here in Honolulu, March 2010...'

  • @kiloilio I am sooooo jealous right now. Those are two of my favorite blue-eyed soul singers.

  • Saw Boz at the Palais Theatre Melbourne Australia this week and he and his band were excellent playing a very blues based style. Lowdown was a highlight.

  • Boz works with studio musicians- Toto back in the '70s when he originally recorded Lowdown. No matter who he plays with, the group is first rate and Boz is spectacular. Seen him live in Vegas, Toronto and New York...fantastic.

  • Am I the only one that thinks this guy playing the trumpet would pass for Kurt Russell's twin?

  • Who's the bass player? He nails down David Hungate's feel & groove.

  • Man, I use to sing this one on stage , back in da day !!

  • I like the flute on this one.

  • *****

  • Still an incredibly warm song...Thank you :)

  • this is funk/soul at its best.

  • hmmmm.... so sexy..

  • 16 it was a sunny day in july i was working on my ford maverik my girlfriend and her friend came by, my girl and i eventualy worked our way into my bedroom turned on the stereo passions ran high thank you Boz.

  • It was the 70's...I was working my first art dept. job....she was one beautiful woman and I had the world by the tail.....great song and time in my life!!!!! Thanks!

  • fell in love with the tune first time i hear it

  • who is the guitar player in this video??

  • Drew Zingg. Look him up and see the list of musicians he has played with. If you haven't seen it yet, watch "Miss Sun" from this video. It highlghts Boz on the guitar. There is a great call and answer part with the vocalist Ms Monet'. This is the music the world has lost thanks to commercialization. Collect this stuff while we can.

  • OK thanks bro,

is this the guy who played on Steely Dan live album "alive in America"??

    Great jazz guitar player....

  • Amazing!

  • is that guy playing a flugelhorn?

  • Yep! ;)

  • In the 70's (My era)....Boz was the buzz....Today the midriff's a little wider...the hair's a little grayer (and yes..a little more folically challenged)...Totally don't get most of today's music...So, it's great to see that the acts from my era can still get it all together...the band's tight, the backup singers are just great....and Boz....yeah......He's still the buzz....thanks for the memory...

  • absolutely killer......hes still got it .......after all these years .....boz still bad as hell......what a voice....

  • Another sexy older rock star.. he still sounds so good!

  • nice groove, but nothing like the Jeff Porcaro grove ;)

  • Gr8 vocal...thanx Monsieur Boz

  • Great tune! Thanks!

  • Boz and that band, and those girls, they sure can put some shit together, even after all these years.

  • @rvcrvc2 Yeah it's such a cool song.
