It couldn't, not on a long shot. Now, while you could reduce graphics, Wii's online is limited, the processor isn't enough, graphics would cause lag, the number of players would have to be dropped from 24 to 8, 16 tops, the downloadable updates would fill your harddrive as they must be installed, Controls would be poor, I mean they were already slow when they made the console version, and lack of anti-cheat means a hell of a lot of hackers.

@vivhero Then how could the Wii handle Super Smash Bros. Brawl? It has about 38 characters, 82 different stages, about 500 trophies, 500 stickers, all on one CD. If it can do graphics like that without HDMI, then it could handle TF2 graphics, as it can do HDMI. And even if it can't do multi-player, I refer to my previous point: why not make an add-on for it. They had an online peripheral for the SEGA GENESIS. If they had that tech back in the early 90's then they can have it for the Wii.

@vivhero And as for updates, who said they had to be installed? Brawl gets updates all the time in the latest releases of the game, so it can happen, just at a slower rate, if not, less updates. I'm not really seeing how hard it could be to properly program controls. Wii's controllers are very responsive for me, especially the Wii plus, so no complaints I see. Now, I understand that you think TF2 can't be done on Wii, and I see why. I think it can be done through experienced programming.

Yes, but it would be a watered down port. See, the minimum RAM needed for TF2 is a MINIMUM of 538 MB. Wii only has 88 MB of Ram. The recommended amount is 1 GB, or 100 mb or ram. Not only that but the actual game uses almost 10GB of space, where a Wii only has 500 MB internal memory, almost 7 GB of that was updates. A wii disk holds 7.89 GB of stuff. So it would have to be remade from Scratch. However, I can see a TFC remake on Wii, though its a very different game really.

It would depend XD If they are making the gameplay more closer to the original TF2 and fixing anything that needed to be fixed, such as Scout in TFC being useless, along with remaking Maps like 2Fort, Rock2, Crossfire, and so on, but maintaining elements such as Conc. Jumping, I sure as hell can see it happening. But for now, Monster Hunter will be Wii's most advanced and closest thing to the Online gaming of a PC.

True, but Monster Hunter is the game that has really pulled off the Online Community thing best. Its the game most played on average per player, confirmed by Nintendo, and game played Online most, also confirmed. However, the series isn't exactly huge Outside of Japan, so there aren't as many players but the lack of need for Friend Codes and such along with the whole Co-Op oriented gameplay makes it fun. You should try it someday.

Wii has similar graphical power to the xBox or PS3. It's just that there are few games that use that power. Off the top of my head, I know of SSBB and Mario Galaxy 2. There are more, though.
