it's going to be sore and possibly painful until it heals completely which can be weeks, especially for oral piercings...the pain doesn't just go away because the actual process of piercing it is done.

@msi4life666 don't be scared it doesnt hurt rly..its just a lil pinch but when your doing it urself make sure you where gloves and everything is purified and also when your putting the needle or what ever your using to pierce, pierce it with force cause if you just keep stopping youll feel pain and u would have to go through layers of ur bottom lip. also suggestion bout the lip ring use a stud cause they are easier u a labret or a L-shape nose stud for ur lower lip..Hope i helped good luck!! :)
