It's funny, I've watched this video many months ago, and back than it had no real significance to me, apart from the fact that I really liked it. I went to the Uni of Shitfield for 3 years - the worst 3 years of my life. Noone tried to talk to me when I was feeling so depressed I had to take anti depressants. Only stayed there to get a good degree and got screwed out of that aswell cos my grandma got a brain tumour and died in my exam period and they were totally insensitive about it and wouldn't let me resit my exams. I will never have any but bad memories of the dump.

Manchester. It's a dump because it's really ugly, all the houses are grey, it's really small and there's not many places to go - if you want to go cinema there's only three to choose from, hardly any shops at the main shopping centres, built on hillside which is absolutely irritating as fuck to walk up all the time and not much fun when it's icy.

It's really hilly because it's the perfect place for making Steel with many valley's that lead into town and all the factories. There is at least 4 cinemas i can think of and 2 theatres and the countries biggest comedy festival and excelent sport and facilities

Manc speaks for itself. I lived around the uni itself, Crookesmoor is especially ugly, but I've been to different areas around the city. The hills might be good for making steel but it doesn't make it any less anoying to live in. Four is not very many compared to a big city. I hadn't ever lived in a city other than Manchester so assumed Sheffield would be big just because of it's city status but was shocked by how small it was. Not excellent sports facilities by my standards either.

yeah i have family that live in fallowfield i think, it's south of the city centre. It's really not as nice as sheffield it's drab places like moss side and strangeways. the centre is wonderfull but the people let it down, in my opinion it isn't as nice. Sheffield is bigger because people count oldham and salford and places like that it would be like saying rotherham barnsely doncaster and chesterfield are part of sheffield. More people live in sheffield too

I wouldn't say the people let it down, the city centre is an absolute nightmare when you're walking through - if you're like me and you get annoyed by people walking into you and stuff then the people are annoying in that way but most of the people I know personally from Manchester are lovely. Just considering the actual two city centres though, Manchester is huge compared to Sheffield which is what I meant originally.

sheffield city centre is small and mucky in places. Norwich has a bigger city centre but is basically the same size as chesterfield lmao. Sheffield needs a bit of cleaning up in the centre, but i was amazed by Manchesters center it's clean, nice, relaxing and had alot of good good shops i think sheffield needs to work to get one more like that i think, anf knock down park hill flats, the academy and the odean cinema while theyre at, its all so 70's lol

Sheffield is a city of villages though. In that sense, Sheffield and Manchester are incomparable.

Manchester has a large centralised population and city centre.. it's basically like a smaller, less impressive version of Brum and London.

Sheffield is completely different. Totally different vibe, totally different layout - much more community based.

Location wise, Sheffield also received about 40% less rain than Manchester. It has hills on the west side but they keep you fit ;)

I just don't like the city - it's unrelated to my opinion of the uni. I applied for extenuating circumstances but I was not excused from exams, it seems like the uni of sheffield thought that when I had to do 2 exams in the same week as her death it would only affect my performance by 10 marks. I don't have any issues at all, I just don't see why I should have to jump on the I love uni of sheffield bandwagon when I don't agree with the way they run their uni.

Well I didn't take them for years actually and I don't think it's something to be ashamed of seeing as 60% of people will suffer from depression in their life.
