Actually these are not even his good songs, and he does indeed reach countless listeners back home in the bronx with his music. Just because it isn't a gregorian chant does not mean it does not honor God in a way...

You have to remember that the people at this are mostly very good catholics, and that there are my chaperones intermixed.

There is plenty of dignity in this, he is connecting with people with music from todays culture.

Oh please, wake up... do you understand what modernism is? Ratzinger is a modernist who believes that faith comes from within. The modernists call this immanence. It was condemned as a heresy by Pope Saint Pius X.

That may be true, to a limited degree. However, he has stated numerous times that he hates rock music and rock concerts and thinks that they are occasions of sin. Why, then, he condones these sort of things going on at world youth day is beyond me, but still

There's only ONE way to solve this:

1. Learn about the pre-Vatican II Church teachings.

2.Get out of the Novus Ordo and find a traditional Latin Mass Chapel.

3.Start spreading this message to others.

The problem is that the Church is no longer promoting the teachings of the faith.... not with Vatican II.

Instead of promoting the Catholic faith, they seem to be embracing the world in hopes that it (the world) will embrace the faith. They haven't really abandoned anything, they are simply not telling people the truths of the faith because people will reject it.

But pernicious heretics who will not recind their heresy (after being made aware of it) separate themselves from the Church and lose their authority and jurisdiction, because a man cannot be the head of that which he is not a member.

Come on dude the 2nd vatican counsel was more then needed and seeks to bring the gospel to heart of the culture ! something Pope Pius did not want too do, but blessings to our late holy father pope pius because a major dogma out of his vatican 1 counsel was papal inflability which is a dogma of the church and can be found in VATICAN COUNSEL 1 saying by exempt from error of all teachings,writings and sermons because they are from the holy spirit .

For instance, they accept ministers of the Lutheran, Anglican, Eastern Schismatic sects as being ministers of Christs' Church even though those non-Catholic groups deny Dogmas such as Transubstantiation, the Immaculate Conception, and the Papacy itself. Plain and simply, the Vatican II  anti-popes are preaching a false Gospel.

Cool. We were somewhere over the otherside, (as you may be able to tell) just infront of the bigscreen sorta. It was pretty cool, two of the sign language people came to our Catechesis and were signing there =)
