  • i have a swimming bunny 2 :D she like jumps in the pool and stuff and we try to take her out but she wnt let us lol

  • HAHAH DROWN OU STUPID RABBIT DROWN!!

  • Ya im sure he doesn't enjoy it.

  • Poor Rabbit ;(

  • Actually, Many ILL people, You do bathe you're rabbit IF/WHEN they stink. You wash them with a wash clothe, Yes it's many times stressful, can cause death, BUT, this rabbit OBVIOUSLY doesn't mind. it's just floating around. - If it was scared, it'd be swimming fast panicking . - Although, it should have had something to stand on if he/she would get tired. but, yeah, It's good they stopped doing it. so stfu .

  • @Animalsrule3398 Actually if it was panicing while in water it wouldn't be swimming fast or anything, they just 'float around' to keep their head above water so they DONT drown. If they were swimming fast or panicing they would just put themselves at a higher risk of dying. So yes, most bunnies that are in water just float around slowly, trying to find something to stand on to get out of the water.

  • Poor Rabitt

  • My rabbits name is LUCKIE but it sounds the same(:

  • @guitarchick01 Yeah, my rabbit hates being bathed, i've only done it like once.. and that was summer last year. If my rabbit needs a wash, i'd probably just get my hands wet and soak her fur, but you shouldn't leave the rabbit in water for too long like the video ( no offence ) because if the water was to get in the ears, it could causse problems.

  • So cute! My bunny is 6 months old and I'm planning to teach him to swim, how u taught ur's

  • animal cruelty!

  • Dude. Rabbits swim, like most other mammals. It's fine. Calm down.

  • Ok Shut up people the bunny didnt die if he did you would have seen him exploded in this video

  • Now this is a first, never knew a bunny could swim or get bathed for that matter. I dont think my Mr would enjoy ither one. I have noticed when it rains really hard and his burrow gets flooded he tends to go to the middle of the garden and sits right in the rain in the center and sulks. ->must be his way of bathing ye?

  • Hey honey don't listen to all the stupid fucking people on here telling u crap. They think they know it all and are that pathetic to keep trying to raise a point which isn't even neccessary. The rabbit didn't die and was perfectly fine. None of these assholes are vets and couldn't ever be so just ignore them and enjoy ur bunny

  • sooo cute. some bunnies do like to swim.

  • Fucken stupedass don't put the bunny in stress I only put an inch of water u are a complete retard what are u a 5 year old

  • Fuckuubaabe I agree with

  • Bunnies get scared of everything, it is a stress for them, no need to bath them, they are clean without bathes.

  • actually its not dangerous to bath your bunny...but you might not wanna put so much water in next time ok? anyway cute bunny!

  • poor rabbit! what are you doing?! if you don't have friends or hobbies, don't torture that rabbit to death! If yoz like to, then do it with yourself!

  • There is nothing wrong with occationally (once a year) bathing your bunny...but the water should not be that deep. When I bathed my bunny the water was shallow enough that he could stand up in it with out floating and i kept his head and ears completely dry. I also placed a towel at the bottom of the tub so that he would feel stable. in terms of shampoo I used Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo and made sure that I completely rinsed him.

  • Awhhh. my bunnie lovesss baths too xD I think you should have made him a platform or something that he could jump up on so he didnt have to stay swimming, but cute xD

  • @Itsuwaru omg no -.-do u even have a OWN rabbit ?-.- thats just a LIE rabbits gets warm really easy and need to get cold in summer.

  • @RandomKidNamedCarrou They can tolerate cold, but not dampness/wetness. I really would suggest not immersing a rabbit in water.

  • u ppl r soo serious..just chill bunnies need a bath!

  • if bunnys arent supposed to be bathed, then why do they sell bunny shampoo at the pet stores?

its ok to bathe your bunny. you just need to be careful with the water temperature

  • my bunnys named lucky too =] cuz he was lucky that my mom didnt take him back to the pet store

  • Do you know just giving the bunny some water as a bath is good because they have dander and people who are allergic to things like dust and pollen can create problems with that. lol good to give lucky a bath just not the shampoo. only a little water can do it! =) i have 2 bunnies of my own.only bathed them once cuz i just found out about it.

  • I am also sorry about the "sounds in the sounds in the background."

  • Wie bescheuert kann man denn sein?

    Ein Hase ist KEIN Fisch!

  • Through years, I have owned a lot of bunnies.. and sometimes I took them for a swim.. and they really enjoyed it.. There is no danger, but you have to take care of them while in the water.. They can drown.. :)

  • animal abuser !!

  • If you put my rabbit in a bath he'd jump out and scream "BITCH DON'T PUT ME IN THERE!!!"

  • awee thats cute! wats ur bunnies name. nice colors it has <3

  • U freaken.....

dont u know that bunnys dont like water they can DIE from it

    there sensitive to water

  • My rabbit likes to jump into puddles and low buckets of water and splash around... anyone know why?

  • the video is cute but so you know, many bunnies do need baths and it is ok to bath them if they are to unclean for them to take care of themselves. we have 2 and one of them used to be overweight, we would bath her in the sink but it was more of a shower because we just rinsed her off with the light, low pressure sprayer. that is one safe way for a bunny to be bathed.

  • Please don't put rabbits in the water, I'm a vet, its their defense to try to keep thier ears above the water and mouth, if water gets inside they can die, so they float, trying to survive. Please do your research before you even try to argue this fact. After all,I just love animals and care about their well being.

  • @Mizbonita08 If your age on your profile is correct and you are 21 there is no fucking way you're a vet.

  • @rickster798 > haha! that's true!

  • Don´t give a pet to a child. That are living beings and no toy!

  • I bathe mine and she's four years old at least

  • i wish my buny would take a bath

  • ahh the bunny is so cute

  • Oh bloody hell people this rabbit hasnt suffered any abuse during this video. Rabbits can swim they like it. If the rabbit was in any distress it would have been splashing manicly. I've done this with my rabbit and she loves it. So stop complaining like a bunch of sniveling little pussy's

  • That's not abuse, but you shouldn't force it to swim in the bathtub. -_-

  • stop abusing ur rabbit. they're people too!

  • @KaliaMigold

    You just completely contradicted yourself.

  • Thats so amazing!! I wish my bunny could swim

Although ive neverr really tried it xD

How did u make yur bunny swim?

  • I think most bunnies actually can swim . did you see rosie the swimming bunny . The bunny is in a deep pool just swimming around its pretty cool .

  • Everyone who says that is bad its not obvisolly they were right next to the bunny just incase and the water wasnt that high some rabbits love water and some hate it

  • Do not do this to a rabbit!! What's wrong with you?

  • my bunny looks just like yours she was sinking when i let her swim and she is heavy when i take her out of the water

  • aww, hes a sweetie!!!

  • oh that is so cute

  • Poor rabbits, if they get water in there ears, there screwed.

  • @Nesysli

or even in the nose then their screwed too

  • Seriously y'all take a tranquillizer pill or a chill pill getting them wet is not dangerous they just hate it... '0__0

Anywayz if it were bad for they're health [@cmitch419] They would die at the first fall of rain in the wild. Maybe as bunnies, correct. they could get a chill and become sick. But when they are at the age of at least 1 year, they can get wet.

And besides, you are all right. That rabbit just hates the bathtub. Look at it thrashing. It looks like its about to kill someone!

  • nice welcoming annotation there just two seconds into the video

  • i take my bunny a bath regulary...he gets out and plays in the dirt and everything...when he is done he is soooo dirty...it isn't even funny...so i put the bathtub with a little bit of warm water and clean him...he takes it pretty good...and it gets him super clean...he leaves the bath water all dirty...its no big deal...i dry him afterwards and i leave him alone in the bathroom to dry himself...its all good

  • No cruelty , aqua NO for Rabit !

  • Doesn't ANYONE know about SWAMP RABBITS?!? It's OK for a rabbit to swim, as long as their head stays above water and they're not in the water too long.

  • I have a rabbit, trust me.. if its not happy it will LET U KNO & it wont be subtle.. that rabbit would be freaking the hell out if it was scared.

  • Constant swimming around the sides trying to find a way out is a big hint.

And rabbits sometimes just completely freeze when they're scared.

All rabbits are different, don't try and generalise them as the same just because you have one.

  • No i agree the waters a little too deep for a bath. That bunnys definately not happy but it wasnt hysterical either. Jus as long as its calm im saying thats ok.. it wont have a heart attack. She probably didnt realize that she shouldnt stick bunnies in a bathtub. Sometimes they do enjoy water but generally theyre not into swimming.

  • You idiot it isent swiming its try to get out..

  • Look genious is talking we should all listen to you. NOT stop ruining everyones good time jeeze bet u have no frineds u jerk. Its her rabbit she can do whatever the heck she wants

  • Ok well then....I'm happy that people care a lot about rabbits cuz i have a few and well you need to take a deep breath and calm down....She's not killing the rabbit or hurting it, i mean her hand was under the rabbit to make sure it was floating and the rabbit wasnt screaming or anything cuz when rabbits are hurt they scream. I give baths to my bunnies and they like it, i dont put a lot of water cuz i worry a lot but the rabbit seemed perfect and she seemed to care a lot for making those noises

  • Rabbits don't always scream when they're scared you know. Sometimes they just freeze. And the rabbit obviously didn't like this because it's constantly looking for a low edge to jump out.

What's more important? Giving a rabbit a bath because it's dirty or making it miserable just for people's entertainment on here.

  • Honestly though sometimes you DO need to bathe your rabbit. They get whats called wet bottom or wet tail.. the fur gets all stained, matted and clumped together from its pee. Other than that you really dont have 2 bathe rabbits.

  • I know you have to bathe them sometimes but she's not bathing it. She's stood in the water next to it, recording it - Swimming.

And if you don't want them getting wet tail then feed them less greens or you're just not cleaning their cage/hutch out enough.

  • guys stop freaking out! The bunny isnt being hurt so its ok! Who cares if shes giving her bunny a bath. I gave my bunny a bath and shes like 5 and she perfectly fine! so stop freaking out!

  • If it was 2 years ago and you haven't done this to your rabbit since, then take the video of the internet...! People who watch this may think it's a good idea to bathe rabbits like that.

  • This is ANIMAL CRUELTY! If you know who this person is, please report them to your local ASPCA!

  • take a chill pill! this is not animal cruelty because the rabbit isn't being hurt on purpose. As long as the rabbit isnt drowning im pretty sure its fine so please use your little peanut sized brain before you comment.

  • Chill out! Animal cruelty please. Did u just come from stupid town? Animal cruelty is dog fighting, drowning, beating, starving, drowning all that crap and no peiple dont give a crap about what u say

  • What if you had two rabbits swimming in the water... with lasers mounted on their heads??? Then would it be animal cruelty?

  • Maybe if you knew anything about rabbit care, you'd know that getting them wet is very bad for them.

  • you're tarded.

  • So are you, you can't spell properly, you spelt retarded as tarded.

  • @meatisdeliciouse Good one! Nice sentence, tard.

  • @adamjames25

Are you TRYING to make a joke?

    you're tarded.

Wow I think he's not the one who's "tarded"

  • @Flaky4Cereal i can see why you might be confused. youturd moved my original "you're tarded" comment out of place. it was directed at someone who was crying out animal cruelty. meatisdeliciouse jumped in and then my comment was moved to the top(ish).

  • @adamjames25 Ahhhh. Sorry about the confusion...

By the way I started telling my friends that they are "Tarded" whenever they do something stupid... So thanx ^.^

  • You ARE allowed to give a rabbit a bath if you know how. and you did a good job at it so it's ok. I give my rabbit a few baths and he is perfectly healthy. He just doesnt know that when i give him a bath that it's not going to hurt him. Lol.

  • everyone makes mistakes guys, so no sense of yelling at her! i make mistakes, everyone makes mistakes

  • omg you guys should just leave her alone, so what if she put her rabbit in the bath tub, maybe she was little, SO WHAT NO BIG DEAL EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES, so seriously. its cute though! and im sure that you people that comment her on this have made some rabbit mistakes too so!!! goshness! the uploader of the video: it was very cute though!

  • I gave my rabbit a bath once, he wasn't too happy about it. But he didn't flip out either, he smelled great after wards!

  • A quick lesson in bunny behaviour for you, the uploader of this video....ears back - scared rabbit.

  • can the rabbit be crank kann kein englisch kann das kaninchen dann krank werden

  • thats soo crule!!!!!

it was trying to get out, a rabbit wouldnt choose to swim so why put him in deep water!

when you bath them thats why your only meant to put a tiny bit of water in

    not funny at all

  • some bunnies like to swim. ive seen rabbits go willingly into pools before

  • I think it's always irresponsible to make your bunny swim.

  • hahaha i loved it, my bunnies hate baths.. btw ignore all those inmature comments, there's shampoo for bunnies and its ok for them to get a bath when needed.

  • ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ OMG! did never fall in the water he is so cute to die!

  • That is not a bunny. Its a dalmatian dog or a cow

  • Rabbits do not need to be bathed. For many rabbits, bathing is a stressful experience and it has the potential for bringing ILLNESS. If your rabbit has only a small area of their body that needs to be cleaned, bathe that area only. Non-medicated shampoos designed for dogs and cats are fine for rabbits.Make sure your rabbit doesnt become chilled!! If using a hair dryer high settings should never be used because of the risk of heat stress.

EDUCATION IS THE FIRST PART OF OWNERSHIP!!

  • On a hot day i went shopping and i covered my guinea pigs cage with a nice and wet blanket so it could bring a breeze That day was suppose to be 40 degrees it went up to 45 Degrees Really hot . and my guinea pigs where in the sun which i diddnt notice and when i came back they died from heat stress i was so upset i couldnt stop crying i love my guinea pig R.I.P

btw im in Australia thats why its very hot

  • @guitarchck01 my rabbit has been bathed and loves swimming. He is not stressed out by the low heat setting I have on my hair dryer and he'll come sit on my lap to be pet with a towel. As long as you keep him in a warm area whilst he is drying it shouldn't be such a risk. Rabbit shampoo's exist at least in my pet stores, and they jump in water to cross creeks all the time. You just have to look into the wild to see what they can and can't handle.

  • yea seh enjoys being in the water

  • good excersise!!

    does it like it?

  • its the fact that it doesnt have the option to jump out, it either struggles or drown. its better to just leave them to use their own cleaning methods.

  • i havent given lucky a bath since like forever since this video was put on here and its not like i bathed her everyday only when she got really dirrty and i do realize that the water level was VERY high in this video but this was her and my very first bath so now when i bathe her almost every 6 months or so i MAKE SURE that the level and temp. of the water is comfortable for lucky to be in and this isnt about how cute my bunny looks in water this was just so hat i could keep her klean

  • PEACE is when you stop this cruel punishment to your rabbit! Do you realize that your rabbit can have a heart attack and die!?! You can be the cause of a poor little life ending..Do you ever think about that shit? No you probably don't. You're just thinking about how cute you think it is to see a rabbit struggle in water.

  • thank you ! rapcitygirl4 and other ppl stop fighting on my video or no hate coments can we at least TRY to live in peace?

  • omfgg shut up i bathe my bunni's, its good ta keep them clean, and if it was soo bad how come they sell bunni shampoo ? ♥

  • bunnies swim for a last resort.

its either life or death the poor bunny has to swim or he will drown.

    it wants out.

just leave it be and research on rabbit care.

  • Well if your bunny likes it, there is no need to stop her, I've known bunnies that loved being in the water. Just make sure the water isn't to cold. You don't want her to catch pneumonia!

  • tanks guys ohh and bunnys can actualy swim but if your goning to do this make sure u dont get any water in ur bunnys ears and if ur bunny get nervous the first time hold her or give her support from her belly thatll help them get used to the water tanks for commenting guys!!!!!!!!!!
