You obviously know nothing about electronic music so don't waste your time posting idiotic troll comments.
You apparently can't even create your own youtube page 'simmy' let alone create something original for all time like FUTURISK! Futurisk was one of the most ORIGINAL bands to ever come out, do your homework idiot
@PandPfreestyle it does look like a Liberation, but it is actually Moog Rogue in the attachable strap-on encasement that was available before the Liberation, that's why it looks oversized on the underside. it was a real heavy bitch.
@ksine if you look at the closeup around 2:20 and after you can see it is a liberation, thought is was a rogue too at first then compared images of the two against each other.

I like this track, there's something really dark about it that inspires me to produce more music, If only there were more people who enjoyed synthpop/minimal wave, I love synthpop and minimal wave and people think I'm strange but who cares :D

This is terrible. Really, really bad. I thought it was a parody, at first. Go watch the Screamers, they were an actual synth-punk band... or just watch Devo.
you're lucky... dont get me wrong, i love futurisk and all, but its almost a love/hate relationship. i was born in 82 and my parents were both really into synthpunk, playing it constantly during my early development. i still love them to death but me and my therapist think the constant invasive exposure to this abrasive, confusing music they gave me a very strange sense of reality.
@ladronguapo I've been listening to electro music for almost like 32 years and I think there are hundreds of little electronic bands like this that most of us probably never ever heard of before.I used to have some weird indie electronic singles and cassettes myself.(I remember one of them was called Future Toys.God what a name for a band).Never too late to discover some of them still I think.
yes i should be more clear ;) and Richard Bone was around, but he was mostly a New Yorker . there was a couple of Pink Floyd type bands using synths.
hey is this THE Franzko Blankensteen? for that matter wtftwhere IS Jack Howard for real?! we told him don't smile or look at the camera haha , but he loved kieth moon as you can tell, i think he even had the same drum set maybe..he invented a drum hybrid style for futurisk
Yes it's me. A friend of mine saw this band concert and he said the guitarist used a jukebox amp. He used a guitar synth on a few songs and got a wonderful seshaaw sound. The singer at times could croon like Joe Williams. Wonderful band but the drummer scares me.
Yes that sounds right. You mentioned that Howard played like Keith Moon. I thought he sounded a bit like Barrington Womble aka Barry Wom. If I remember incorrectly there was a fifth member of Futurisk named Leppo. "Leppo crawled inside a trunk with a small German fräulein and was never heard from again. Luckily, he couldn't play anyway." I may be confusing Leppo with another group. Futurisk sound holds up well and they were one of the most influential electro skiffle groups around.

yes.. that was the group Televison Dusseldorf.
but i thought Leppo was the leprosy dude who COULD play but died before the 1st ep.. :(

I think Leppo was hoping to join that Bavarian accordian duo of Rolf and Flouride. He actually was hoping to join Rammstein in 1980 and went over the Berlin Wall as they were in East Germany. Sadly, Rammstein would not be formed until 1994 and Leppo was never heard from again. Tragic. :-(
