Sonic 06 had potential, just think about what it could have been if somebody could go through and attempt to fix all the gameplay glitches and stupid things in gameplay (because cutscenes sadly cannot be fixed I'm sure :S) like Sonic's pitiful Movement speed for example, this game could be alright, it will always be one of the worst Sonic games and a very stupid one plot wise, but it has a base of goodness in it I think.

@Hademaster64tv No they weren't. One ability doesn't make them different. They still all played the same and had the same functions. Omega was not faster than Sonic. I don't know how people think that but he isn't. And Blaze is the most fun Amigo character but she still isn't faster than Sonic. It just feels like she is because whenever you play as her you just get through playing as a slow character like Silver.

Doesn't matter how well they play they still were boring as can be.

Then they aren't any fun either way. And the playable characters in 06 are all very fun and all work very well and all add alot of vareity except for Omega and Knuckles.

Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes had characters that all played the same and it had no variety. In 06 each character offers a different experience and they are all very fun to play as except for Knuckles and Omega.

The story is not terrible, it's not out of place. Serious storylines are much better suited for Sonic than those lame cartoony ones that Heroes and Colors and Generations has, there aren't any plot holes, and there is nothing boring about it. It feels like a very epic movie when you watch the story. There aren't that many glitches to run into. Sure the game does have lots of glitches but most of them can only happen if you go looking for them, and this game is one of the best Sonic games.

Shadow doesn't die though. And yes Generations is canon because it was made by Sonic Team. And yes it is a weak storyline. Nothing eventful or shocking happens, nothing tragic happens, the characters hardly say anything of intrest, and there isn't much incentive the story gives the player to save the world. They hardly make it out to be a real big threat which makes it seem a bit unimportant. Yes they were funny but don't belong in a Sonic game. The Wisps are awesome in my opinon.
