  • This can only be a supplementary energy source at best. Maintenance will likely be expensive and closing off large sections of our waterways is not practical. Banning off shore drilling and other domestic sources is of great benefit to the Islamofascist regime in Iran, the thug Chavez of Venezuela, Russia and Saudi Arabia. It would not surprise me to find foreign enemy money behind some of the so called environmental groups. They said nothing about the Cuban oil strike south of Key West.

  • We don't have enough oil to do jack with. Why bother with banned offshore drilling sites? There are numerous offshore claims held now by oil companies and no action has been taken. Why do you think that is? Could it be that the Co's deem there is not enough value there to pursue it? The middle east don't give a damn about the trivial amount of oil we have. Get your head outta your ass redneck.

  • Well, it can only be supplementary energy source for now because the technology is still being developed. If we devoted more time and money to explore alternative energy sources now, the efficiency of these sources would improve, just like they did with oil. Oil will not last forever, but as long as we have tides, turbines like this have a lot of potential.

  • heard trey taylor speak about this on cable tv this past weekend ... blessings to everyone involved

  • Very informative. Sounds like this project will bear fruit.
