My wife is a witness and I'll never believe in contrived religion. Now Jesus I believe was quiet the man but I believe allot of what he tried to say has been twisted. I believe the tablets of the Sumerian can back me up factually. I attended the JW convention for the first time and like the video found allot of witnesses clamoring to get out as soon as the last prayer. Why a few cars coming out of the parking lot were in a (over the posted speed limit) hurry to get on the freeway..

The scriptures do not even agree with themselves so you will not be able to track down a single truth from it. Pour yourself into research on the origins of the Bible, especially paying attention to the differences between the God of the Old testament and that of the New Testament. You will realize that the authors of the Old and New are speaking of an entirely different God.

The unbeliever they will go to Hades (Luke 16) to await the resurrection (Jn. 5:29) and the judgment of the wicked at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ (Revelation 20:5-15). The believer who dies today goes immediately into the presence of God.
I have recently learned that the GB also lies about why JWs were persecuted by the Nazis. They want JWs and the public to believe it was because they had the courage to speak out aginst Hitler murdering innocent Jews, when it had nothing to do with that. They were persecuted because the Catholic church encouraged it, because the GB spoke out against Catholic leaders, and they GB kept flip-flopping about their support of Hitler. That is truely disgusting!
When elders keep threatening to disfellowship people for things that the Bible never said was wrong, something is wrong! I should not be threatened with disfellowshipment for separating from a man that abuses me! It wasn't even getting a divorce, I was in a shelter. My husband is not even a witness. I don't know what is true and what isn't anymore, but I know JW is not the truth, now.

The Watchtower organization say the Bible says this, and the organization says that, but when a problem arises it it obvious by the reaction of the elders that the organization trains them to do things contrary to what it taught from the platform.
Thank you brother. I am a JW, and I am leaving, because of my true brothers and sisters like you. Lately, a brother from Bethel has seemed to brainwash the Elders in my hall so I started having doubts. No matter how hard I prayed, the doubts got stonger and stronger, instead of less strong. So I did research, and because of real lovers of God I have learned the truth. We are all a new family. I am going to speak to my few JW that I think will listen, then I'll disassociate.

The last thing god does forgive. And when I was able to forgive myself I knew I could except his forgiveness. When judgement day comes no matter what, if I am reserected or here for the paridise. My love for Jehovah will never go away. For my family! I don't blame them what they choose is between them and Jehovah. The truth is this experience has actually made my love for Jehovah stronger. I don't take him forgranted like I did as a child.
And I do believe that God can read your heart. Even though I have been out of the organization for years I am working my way back to be reinstated as One of JW. I know he reads my heart because no matter were I turn I can never forget him he is my heavenly father. I have seen things from 2 different sides. And they are not a cult, they are the truth. And the brothers are not perfect they follow the rules that they have been given I don't fault them. I take full responsiblity for my actions.

Hi Rick I can Relate to How hard it was to try and be 100% Like Jesus growing up but the sad truth is and you know this well. We are not perfect so expect to make a lot of mistakes and except the punishment from the organization that you have committed yourself to. If the NWT was a literal translation like they claim, then Jn. 8:58 would not be rendered "I HAVE BEEN", but instead "I AM" like the Greek and many reputable translations read! But if that was done, then Jn. 8:58 would be too closely associated with Exo. 3:14, which the WS doesn't want. (In Exo. 3:14, God identifies Himself as I AM.)

The Governing Body are claiming to have the SAME authority as Jesus. We are told to follow them as we would Jesus. If either one man or a group of men can persuade people to give them that kind of authority and loyalty then the chances are great that a cultlike society will develope.
@peaceintruth Every religious organization out there is claiming to have the SAME authority as Jesus. I've heard of some saying that they are from the same blood line as Jesus. You have to know the bible & history also. You can't just believe what someone says just because. Jesus said that the slave is no greater than the master. They hated me and will also hate you. That's in all bibles. yet no one christian religion is more hated than the JWs.

You should not give your loyalties to any organization. Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine. We will each be judged as individuals. Jesus was talking about individuals being hated not religious groups. If you follow Christ it will eventually lead you into conflicts and being hated by some.

@vetasha Correction; the Bible doe's NOT call Jesus "God's son" or man's son, but "The Son of God" and "The Son of Man". That does'nt mean that Mary had sex with a spirit or with a man. It means that the stuff that makes us human, He was! and the stuff that makes God, God, He also was... and IS.
If he were not God, he would have a beginning, and scripture very clearly teaches that Jesus HAS NO beginning and that he is eternal. Hebrews 7:3 1 Jn 1:2

Here;s some basics: the Old Testament was written in Hebrew & Aramaic, the New Testament was written in 'Koine' Greek. I would highly recommend you get an interlinear, (if you know what that is) there are even some online. It's good to see for oneself what was ACTUALLY written in da Bible.

Rules about sex and marriage in religions, are meant for the sexual regulation of the population, thats not in jesus teachings. Lot of marriages of JW's are really hypocrite crappy situations, so be happy, you are free now.

I have a sister-in-law who is a JW but her husband is NOT. she has one son who is an elder and another son who isn't a believer, they have a sister who isn't that much in it either...she is a real neat person, but it's like ping-pong when we were with her..she would witness to us, and we would witness about Jesus Christ....back and forth, back and forth ---I don't know about her grandkids though

To all the persons who are really wanting a change to take place in your life, I pray that God will bring you into the knowledge of Him by working on your heart! Romans 10:9-13, emphasis on verse 9 and 13. God loves to hear us speak well of Him. It warms His heart! Smile because even if men don't know your worth, God does! Be encouraged!
JWs should realize that to be a Christian means you believe Jesus to be Savior & Lord, not "previously the arch angel Michael". His name is Above all names. Jesus is the name we call upon to help us overcome all obstacles. To say, "I'm a Christian" means there is no secrecy or confusion. Christians are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Christians pray DIRECTLY to God & know His voice. Our salvation is a gift from God & we don't have to "do good works" to earn salvation(Ephesians2:8-9).
I find the JWs have a sort of "snobbish" attitude when it comes to their "religion". I've asked questions concerning if I were to invite one to a wedding, party etc.; if they'd come & I never get a direct answer; it's always "it depends". They don't mind inviting you to their "meetings", but, will not come to any real Christian functions.
I praise God that you & your wife are truly AWAKE, now! I'm glad that God has given you the courage & strength to proclaim the gospel of Jesus our Christ. Jesus, is King of kings, and Lord of lords! The reason I ask is because I was a JW for many DECADES and we always taught that Jesus Christ was really Michael the Archangel. Can you please tell me WT recieved "NEW LIGHT" on this important doctrine and what were the dates that this teaching was ALSO changed? My wife is a witness and I'll never believe in contrived religion. Now Jesus I believe was quiet the man but I believe allot of what he tried to say has been twisted. I believe the tablets of the Sumerian can back me up factually. I attended the JW convention for the first time and like the video found allot of witnesses clamoring to get out as soon as the last prayer. Why a few cars coming out of the parking lot were in a (over the posted speed limit) hurry to get on the freeway..

The scriptures do not even agree with themselves so you will not be able to track down a single truth from it. Pour yourself into research on the origins of the Bible, especially paying attention to the differences between the God of the Old testament and that of the New Testament. You will realize that the authors of the Old and New are speaking of an entirely different God.

The Bible does teach that when a person dies their body is laid to sleep but the Bible teaches that the Spirit of the person remains conscious. The unbeliever they will go to Hades (Luke 16) to await the resurrection (Jn. 5:29) and the judgment of the wicked at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ (Revelation 20:5-15). The believer who dies today goes immediately into the presence of God.

I have recently learned that the GB also lies about why JWs were persecuted by the Nazis. They want JWs and the public to believe it was because they had the courage to speak out aginst Hitler murdering innocent Jews, when it had nothing to do with that. They were persecuted because the Catholic church encouraged it, because the GB spoke out against Catholic leaders, and they GB kept flip-flopping about their support of Hitler. When elders keep threatening to disfellowship people for things that the Bible never said was wrong, something is wrong! I should not be threatened with disfellowshipment for separating from a man that abuses me! It wasn't even getting a divorce, I was in a shelter. My husband is not even a witness. I don't know what is true and what isn't anymore, but I know JW is not the truth, now.

The Watchtower organization say the Bible says this, and the organization says that, but when a problem arises it it obvious by the reaction of the elders that the organization trains them to do things contrary to what it taught from the platform.

Thank you brother. I am a JW, and I am leaving, because of my true brothers and sisters like you. Lately, a brother from Bethel has seemed to brainwash the Elders in my hall so I started having doubts. No matter how hard I prayed, the doubts got stonger and stronger, instead of less strong. So I did research, and because of real lovers of God I have learned the truth. We are all a new family. I am going to speak to my few JW that I think will listen, then I'll disassociate.

And I do believe that God can read your heart. Even though I have been out of the organization for years I am working my way back to be reinstated as One of JW. I know he reads my heart because no matter were I turn I can never forget him he is my heavenly father. I have seen things from 2 different sides. And they are not a cult, they are the truth. Hi Rick I can Relate to How hard it was to try and be 100% Like Jesus growing up but the sad truth is and you know this well. We are not perfect so expect to make a lot of mistakes and except the punishment from the organization that you have committed yourself to. I am sorry that anyone should be humiliated like that but that is the way they have chosen to keep everyone in line. If the NWT was a literal translation like they claim, then Jn. 8:58 would not be rendered "I HAVE BEEN", but instead "I AM" like the Greek and many reputable translations read! But if that was done, then Jn. 8:58 would be too closely associated with Exo. 3:14, which the WS doesn't want. (In Exo. 3:14, God identifies Himself as I AM.)

You have to know the bible & history also. You can't just believe what someone says just because. Jesus said that the slave is no greater than the master. They hated me and will also hate you. You should not give your loyalties to any organization. Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine. We will each be judged as individuals. Jesus was talking about individuals being hated not religious groups. If you follow Christ it will eventually lead you into conflicts and being hated by some.

@vetasha Correction; the Bible doe's NOT call Jesus "God's son" or man's son, but "The Son of God" and "The Son of Man". That does'nt mean that Mary had sex with a spirit or with a man. It means that the stuff that makes us human, He was! and the stuff that makes God, God, He also was... and IS.
If he were not God, he would have a beginning, and scripture very clearly teaches that Jesus HAS NO beginning and that he is eternal. Hebrews 7:3 1 Jn 1:2

Hebrews 7:3 is talking about Jehovah not Jesus and that is why it's important to read the WHOLE bible and not just parts that you think will help you win an arguement. as for 1 John 1:2 it makes absolutely no sense for your arguement. Perhaps you meant John 1:2 where it says "this one was in the beginning with God" read that WHOLE chapter hun.

Heb 7:3 makes a COMPARISON between Melchizedek & Jesus. And how does the writer of Hebrews say that they are alike? Neither have genealogy i.e. earthly father, beginning of days nor end of life i.e. ETERNAL! 1 Jn1:1-3 states very clearly that Jesus IS the ETERNAL Word of LIFE! Indeed, you should read Jn 1:1-3 side by side with 1 Jn 1:1-3

@vetasha "upset"? not hardly, I enjoy getting JW's to think for themselves... when they're not trying to run away. However, you seem to have special needs, so I'll try to keep it as simple as possible for you. Here;s some basics: the Old Testament was written in Hebrew & Aramaic, the New Testament was written in 'Koine' Greek. I would highly recommend you get an interlinear, (if you know what that is) there are even some online. It's good to see for oneself what was ACTUALLY written in da Bible.

For every scripture you try to argue that Jesus is God Almighty I Have 2 that says he is Jehovah's son and not God Almighty. What about the FACT that the tetragrammaton is in the bible over 7k times in the original hebrew/greek scriptures? you know what that is right? the 4 letters yhwh that make up Yahweh that translate Jehovah. Again, 1Jn states that HE is the ETERNAL Word of Life Rev 1:8 calls him The Almighty Rev 19:16 says that HE is The King of Kings AND The Lord of Lords. I DARE you to show me in ANY greek interlinear where the Tetragrammaton exists, IT DOES NOT! also, where does Jesus EVER address the Father as Jehova? Just show me one verse!

@niged0 Jesus says that we are NOT to judge presumptuously Mt 7:3 he uses a deliberately extreme image in this passage--that of a plank in somebody's eye--to make a point about the human impulse to judge others while ignoring our own faults. Tend to your own flaws, Jesus teaches, before you get too upset about others'

@vetasha Isaiah 48:12 Jehova says that he is The First... and the Last. Let me educate you further 'firstborn' does NOT mean first created. Firstborn is a title or rank like First Lady or First Sergeant, First Lieutenant etc.
In the Bible, Firstborn also shows pre-eminence. Want proof? Ex 4:22 God calls Israel (who was NOT the oldest or first-created) his 'Firstborn' He also does the same with Ephraim Jer 31:9 and finally, David who was the youngest Psa 89:27 You need to do BETTER research hun

I have a sister-in-law who is a JW but her husband is NOT. she has one son who is an elder and another son who isn't a believer, they have a sister who isn't that much in it either...she is a real neat person, but it's like ping-pong when we were with her..she would witness to us, and we would witness about Jesus Christ....back and forth, back and forth ---I don't know about her grandkids though

JWs should realize that to be a Christian means you believe Jesus to be Savior & Lord, not "previously the arch angel Michael". His name is Above all names. Jesus is the name we call upon to help us overcome all obstacles. To say, "I'm a Christian" means there is no secrecy or confusion. Christians are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Christians pray DIRECTLY to God & know His voice. Our salvation is a gift from God & we don't have to "do good works" to earn salvation(Ephesians2:8-9).

I find the JWs have a sort of "snobbish" attitude when it comes to their "religion". I've asked questions concerning if I were to invite one to a wedding, party etc.; if they'd come & I never get a direct answer; it's always "it depends". They don't mind inviting you to their "meetings", but, will not come to any real Christian functions.

The reason I ask is because I was a JW for many DECADES and we always taught that Jesus Christ was really Michael the Archangel. Can you please tell me WT recieved "NEW LIGHT" on this important doctrine and what were the dates that this teaching was ALSO changed? By the way, taking a KJV (satan's bible according to the WT) to the kingdom hall was a big NO NO, when did this change?

My friends, this is the trauma of leaving the organization; in other words, it is frustration of not being able to persevere in his faith. I am understand him well. The Bible predict it to happen with those who renounce their faith, especially if it is the truth. Jesus said about it too.
Listen to them, but be skeptical.
