To drop an item its Z for gamecube controller and - for wiimote. You have to drop the bomb right when its above the ledge.

actually u could use it for wen ur attempting to edge guard them off when u have sent them flying

you could use it to hit somone who's trying to edge hog. Cuz it would knock them off.
