  • great commentary, and gotta love the hair

  • "I get the impression that Ivanchuk is too pure a Chess player to cope with the rough and tumble of Speed Chess. For him, Chess is an art." *Drops the Knight*

    I lol'd hard.

  • What a hair by Kramnik =D

  • LOL! I hadn't seen kramniks hair in those years till now!!!! LOLLLLLLL

  • 3+2 would have won for Ivanchuk

  • I love watching Ivanchuk play blitz. Thanks for the video.

  • wow, they were both so young and ivanchuk losed again despite he almost always has a crushing advantage; keep up the good work dude:)

  • To young gentlemen playing a great game of chess.

  • what an epic video and an epic game played by both EPIC CHESS GRANDMASTERS.. :) Luv it.. thnx for posting the great video.. you really did a really great job..

  • KRAMNIK was moving before Ivanchuk pressed the clock. Ivanchuk would make his move and Kramnik would make his move before Ivanchuk pressed the clock. Obviously that way Ivanchuk's time is going to run down very quickly and Kramnik will lose practically no time at all

  • Dude, Kramnik´s hair is hilarious!

  • chessnoir, you really really really really have to upload more of these fantastic blitz vids!

  • wow, great commentary that was really helpful

  • Faaaak how'd chucky loose that :( he played it so nicely

  • his hair is discusting

  • Oh my God I am almost crying ... How is Ivanchuk such a GENIUS??! That was soooo beautiful ....

  • Great video with high quality comments, thx a lot for upload!

  • kramnik needs this hair cut back

  • wow arkham. you don't ever upload anything lame do you? keep it up brother

  • Great Video, would like to see more of those

  • Wonderful!! bravo to the the comentator!!

  • amazing, one of the best chess videos i've ever seen, great commentary and editing. what a fascinating encounter. Clock time is the fourth dimension of quality (after material, position and time (tempi)), and Kramnik exploited that. Too many players don't value clock time enough.

  • @Sorcerer88 real talk

  • @ChessNoir I suppose you have seen the final of this tournament played between Kasparov and Kramnik. The two matches were brilliant but what was disappointing was kasparov's behavior, outplayed and outgunned in both the matches, when he didnt even congratulate Vlad properly after he won game 2. I found that to be very unsportsmanlike.

  • Kramnik is a gentleman and such a good player! Ivanchuk has an awesome imagination! Great play!

    Tnx for the upload

  • Amazing video! Where do you find all this amazing footage?

Please keep up the amazing work! : )

  • @7blekky7 this is from Grandmaster DVD Magazine 11. Great series. you can order it from chessondvd -dot- com/gmseries.shtml Support these great chess people, uhh... people.

  • Cruel! :)

I don't like time controls without an increment. Even a small increment ensures that chess stays chess and doesn't become an arcade game :D

Great video -- thanks for the upload!

  • The 90's were a hard time on a lot of people.

  • loooooolz amazing. They look so retro. :))))

  • Ivanchuk is now back at 7th place on the provisional ranking list. Amazing guy!

And Kramnik is out of the challenger race.

  • Ivanchuk's brilliant imagination is also his Achilles heel. It's so sad to see him lose. :-(

  • shame to see ivanchuk lose
