BSA Lightning Xl .22 air rifle shooting at different ranges

Grouping is doubtful @ 45 yards for a gun that is barely 10 flbs with a 9" barrell i have a lightning and i wud never own another is wud av more use as a cricket bat. O and for some one to say they can group 1mm is fucking stupid (xyzyyzx wot ever his name is) considering a .22 is 5.5mm

@brad187em unfortunately all spring guns are loud. from my experience hw97's are extremely accurate. i've got 47yard rabbits more than once.

i've added an external silencer to mkae the muzzle report quieter but with spring guns it will always be loud enough to scare away what your shooting at if you miss.

Dude you really need to know how to shoot, you should be able to cover 50 shots with a quarter from 25 yards

tbf thats shit grouping i used my brothers at 80 yards and got a 1mm grouping with a hawke 1/2 crosbow scope with powa pell im not into sprin guns but i would say that was pretty good and please check my channel out got some alright videos on there :)

@Joeypc85 na mate.. i live near salisbury in wiltshire theres a cupple of scratches on the bottom of the gun and on the silencer..otherwise its quit mint and a brand new scope aswell only used it 2 times since ive hade it you will never find this gun at a price like this anywhere......................­...........

i could hit a can at 200 yards using this riffle,

had to aim high about 12 inches tho but dead acurate weapon this is,

hit the hole you made at 25 yards without any problems,

i shot a penny at 30 yards,

if you want a air riffle get the 177 its more acurate

@bammargeraskate96 ...save your money..if you want a great springer get an Air Arms TX200 mkIII..i have the TX200 HC mkIII and it is unreal..all the HFT results and FT results in magazines will have these in there somewhere.they have been known to beat PCP's on the day and Weihrauch dont even come close these days...they are Blisteringly accurate.super powerful and so so smoothe to shoot...and they are all British wheras BSA have lost their way since becoming A Spanish brand..being owned by gamo

@bammargeraskate96 Of course..you could save a little longer than that and get the Air Arms S410 (which i also have) or another great rifle i have..the Daystate AirWolf F.A.C 40ft/lbs...all my rifles are .177..flatter trajectory hence better accuracy in most hands, less wind deflection than .22/.20/.25 and according to new studies shown in Airgun World and Air Gunner...it kills more cleanly.

what ever is going on i dont know but i have just (10mins ago) shot a 5 shot, 3cm group at 45 yards. if i had shot a 4 shot group like yours it would have been 2.5cm and i get 1-2cm at 20yards so it is possible, this was with a bsa supersport.

This is 25 yards you idiot! not 45! This is from a spring piston airgun so its likely down to his technique! There is a lot to compensate for on a spring piston rifle unlike those pcp's. Get any one wrong and your groups go off. I have no problem myself shooting any pellets i have put through mine, some times have to re zero due to different pellet but my groupings are always fine. Any time they are not it is down to my technique

you do get flyers you know a small inperfection on the pellet can seriously throw the pellet out even more so at 45 yards
