Its an automatic. He just has overdrive off. You can see the orange light on the dash. It will shift slightly higher with OD off=Better Acceleration

The reason I thought it was a manual was cuz it says Lariat below the spedo rather than P N D 1 2 3 type thing. Forgot that you can get the shifter on the floor. I am used to my brother's truck. FX4 with the steering wheel shifter.

@FX4Matt i have an 04 f150 with a 7 inch lift and 36in tall tires, i have a 5.4 3v with stage 2 vsr blower grind cams, port and polished heads, manley rods and pistons and comp cam valve spring, a built tranny with a 2600 stall and a procharger on 10 psi and im makin 450 whp and 510 wtq and im losing about 80 whp cause of the big tires i have on. and i have 4.56 gears and run a 60ft time of 1.82 and a 1/4 mile at 13.8. i think you got about 510hp on the motor. but still a pretty quick truck

Diesels can be built to any application ive seen them with 2000 hp and about 7000ft lbs of torque it depends on how you build it and how the transmission is geared and torque is way better than horse power any day.... nice truck man ford all the way.... except for the cummins haah

y do people come onto a vid about a supercharged GAS truck, and say a diesel has more power? who cares, this truck is fuckin sweet, I have the exact same setup except my truck is an XLT, and I have been to the track with it many times and NEVER lost.  and yes, I've raced TRD S/C'd tundras, and beat all. they take me off the line, but they choke out about halfway down the track. the TRD charger isnt as efficient as the roush setup. I would know, I've installed both.

Diesel may have the potential to make more power and torque as a whole, but it they can't hold a candle to a positive displacement blown 5.4L in off-idle torque, drivability and instant throttle respone. Ill take a PD blown gas engine over a turbo diesel as a daily driver any day!

alot of quick diesels pushing over 500hp out there...a majority of the truck i personally know got over 450hp....a supercharged 5.4l 3v with pully supplied with kit will give you a 450hp tops depending on kit...keep in mind diesels making 450 +hp are also making thousands ft lbs of torque...you can have all the power in the world but you need the torque to deliver it

they do make tons of power, cummins can reliably (compared to powerstroke/duramax)... people have taken them up to 90psi that i know of (sled pulls) i just hate seeing people doubting diesels, banks has the s-10 duramax truck hitting high 7's...thats insane.... if i ever come across a 3/4 ton f150 from the early 90's im sticking my 91 f150 body on that i just repainted and dropping in my 98 12v cummins i picked up last summer. that was a reply for an earlier comment btw

Don't forget that those diesel motors don't rev high at all. They may get down the track quick with all that tq, but they aren't typically aren't "fast." What I mean is, in a 1/4 mile, they have low times, but the trap speeds are really low in comparison to the gas motor. At least that's what I have noticed with most 'stock' tuned trucks.

Looks good, just what I want to do to my 2004. A question and a remark. Why is it shifting at the stock 5200 RPM when most tuners let it go up to 5400-5800? The Whipple is not a Roots type blower, it's different from Roots in that it also compresses the air and pushes it into the engine, the Roots just pushes it in.

Its shifts at 5200 cause thats where it makes max power this truck has about 10+ hours on the dyno at troyer performance, both Roush "roots" and Whipple "twin Screw" are positive displacement superchargers unlike a procharger or vortech witch are centrifugal.
