@epiksonik I worked the 2000 Census and one part of the Census was making correct maps for when workers went door to door. It was a pain.. Big maps and trying to get correct addresses and add new construction and streets. This Census, I did not work this time, they did have workers go out with GPS units. The GPS talk is just stupid.. It is no big deal. I hope it saved money and made the maps better this time.
Listen to this one - I work for the census and at first it was; if you didn't want to answer most of the questions, other than the number of people and names, you were left alone. What I would recommenced is go on the net and get copies of the 1790 - 1840 Censuses showing where all they ask for is name of head of household No birthdays nothing else then it only asked for a house hold count. example John Doe 3 males 4 females no more is legally required. I have not been counted on a Census since 1980. Frankly I have no intention of allowing myself to counted. They tell you that they can't us the information against you. Many of them are uncomfortable about the questions that are being told to ask. I know this because I am on the inside. The amount of red tape they have to go through is a lot. Many of the founders were alive during the first 2-3 censuses. Those censuses asked for gender, race (salve/non-slave), name of the head of family. The 2010 also asks home ownership and relationships of people in the home and the race question had been been split into two questions adding ethnicity and actually finding out someone's race, names of all are now asked instead of just the one.
So if the founders thought the questions on the census weren't intrusive, how can we?

I received a follow-up phone call with questions about my children and if they are disabled and how much my husband earns, and if my kids were a certain ethnicity, etc. I was sent the 1st form twice and was sent warning cards twice. I sent the forms in and answered most of the census workers questions. I felt very violated.

Their is some rules as to who is considered living in that house. I.E. kid off in college...who comes home every once in a while...Doesnt count as living in that home. well, I'm from Canada and doesn't it say in the constitution that the census is allowed every 10 years. House GPS coords?!?! They are coming and you better be ready! GPS coords is so that they can send out a list of coords to whom ever they hire (GPS easier, quicker to navigate then using human memory or a street address) to come to your house and do whatever it is they have planned. It's simple. Mail it in and ONLY answer the very first question. Beyond that is uneccessary. The Census is a racist attempt to impose controls amogst the people of The USA. How? It makes you a category instead of a person. What's more racist than categorizing the people of a nation? The extra questions have NOTHING to do with federal funding, schools, police, etc. You don't need ethnicity to see a population increase. You don't need income. You just need a head-count. That's it.

Also before the Census can create the forms they have to go before Congress and the members of Congress both Democrats and Republicans go over each and every question. They came to my house today banging on my doors and windows. I hid in my closet I was so terrofied. Then they went down the street and lurked in the neighbors driveway, and came back two more times today. They did the same yesterday. They asked for my full name and middle initial and took a GPS reading of my front door to associate with my name. They would not stop walking around my house; finally my friend Steve drove up and I opened the door for him and they drove up right behind him.

@epiksonik I worked the 2000 Census and one part of the Census was making correct maps for when workers went door to door. It was a pain.. Big maps and trying to get correct addresses and add new construction and streets. This Census, I did not work this time, they did have workers go out with GPS units. The GPS talk is just stupid.. It is no big deal. I hope it saved money and made the maps better this time.

Listen to this one - I work for the census and at first it was; if you didn't want to answer most of the questions, other than the number of people and names, you were left alone. Now, the census is sending ALL incomplete questionaires back to us enumerators to be completed. Either by the home dwellers, their neighbors or I can look up their information online or at city hall! I might quit if they really push me for this.

What I would recommenced is go on the net and get copies of the 1790 - 1840 Censuses showing where all they ask for is name of head of household No birthdays nothing else then it only asked for a house hold count. example John Doe 3 males 4 females no more is legally required. The constitution has not changed. this give you proof that you are complying with the law by giving just that and no more.

I have not been counted on a Census since 1980. Frankly I have no intention of allowing myself to counted. They tell you that they can't us the information against you. They say that today but tomorrow they can change there mind. The US government used the information from the 1940 Census to round up Italian, Japanese and German Americans in internment camps. So be smart don't trust government. Don't give them your info as once given you cant ever take it back.

The thing is, how would they KNOW if you do give false information, wouldn't that immediately entail that there is an underlying motive behind the census? If for some reason you DO get fined, well..You're day court will come, and you can politely ask them how they knew if it was fact or fiction.. Then, bust out their own "security and privacy" policies followed by the constitution.. If all else fails, haha.. say its against your religion, in this day and age.. trust me, it will work.

Many of them are uncomfortable about the questions that are being told to ask. I know this because I am on the inside. The amount of red tape they have to go through is a lot. I cannot go into detail because it is illegal for me to do so, a least right now. If anyone has any questions about what we will be really asking, let me know and I will try to answer them. Many of the founders were alive during the first 2-3 censuses. Those censuses asked for gender, race (salve/non-slave), name of the head of family. The 2010 also asks home ownership and relationships of people in the home and the race question had been been split into two questions adding ethnicity and actually finding out someone's race, names of all are now asked instead of just the one.
So if the founders thought the questions on the census weren't intrusive, how can we?

Property in the US has the geographical coordinates on record at the assessors office. The coordinates the worker is getting are close to your front door. This allows the census to create accurate maps with a spot at each household which has not returned the census questionnaire. You are a real dipstick..

I received 2 forms from the Census and The Department of Agriculture Census. I was floored to be asked what type of energy we use and our water consumption per gallon. I received a follow-up phone call with questions about my children and if they are disabled and how much my husband earns, and if my kids were a certain ethnicity, etc. I was sent the 1st form twice and was sent warning cards twice. I sent the forms in and answered most of the census workers questions. I felt very violated.

Their is some rules as to who is considered living in that house. I.E. kid off in college...who comes home every once in a while...Doesnt count as living in that home. Someone in the military doesnt count... IF you Have 2 houses...and live most of the time in another home...DOesnt Count....etc.... It literally takes like 3 minutes to fill. But yea...their is always small print..but you don't have to tell them how much stock you own, or things like that.
