MI:3 is definately the best one, the first one was strictly a Brian De Palma film and John Woo's aesthetic wasn't good for the franchise (though it seems otherwise), but JJ Abrams got it down straight

The best OMGWTF moment in the entire series was in MI2 when we think Ethan had gotten his ass kicked by that scottish henchman and was duck taped and shot in the chest at point blank range only to have the antagonist look at ethan's fingers which had a bandage on them, then realizing it was his own henchman and we see Ethen running through the tunnel with the Chimera serum or whatever. That part made me go O.O

Mission Impossible 3 was surprisingly great Action movie. Of course nothing can beat original one but this trequel was decent with a lot of impressive action scenes. Tom Cruise, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Maggie Q, Ving Rhames, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Billy Crudup and Michelle Monaghan did a great job
