I'll agree being an american myself that some of us are disrespectful douche bags... That guy should have got a nice elbow for that..and what does this man mean by orono's time has passed get in the ring with him before making a statement like that.. He's beaten kingstar before...
@Dfaz23 I assume this comment is meant for me. The point of the video wasn't that i am great fighter, but that Saenchai is. I thought that was clear. as for tossing, that is the cost of being a monk.
The kick you were talking about, the one you had never seen before seeing it there, is actually pretty common in shotokan karate. It's called a gyaku mawashi geri.
I am on this video 5:54 - 6:01, the guy sat at ringside. It is nice to see what you put together this day, well done, and was nice to meet you. I'll be at 13 Coins again in Feb 2010. Rob - England.
that isnt a current lumpini champion he is an older former rajadamnern champion kwanpichit 13rianexpress...no longer fights in the big stadiums due to being involved in taking dives in fights
Man I can't wait to get my butt over to Thailand but first I need to spend some time learning the language, learning Muay Thai and saving up some cash.
Learn a little Thai. Do a lot of road work and mitt work. You will need hardcore conditioning. Muay thai is like nothing else in terms of its cardio demands.
Another great vid. Wow, I have seen some oddball stuff in muay thai but that guy in the beginning, I think you said his name is Sanjat (?) was doing some crazy wide kicks. It almost looked like he had some capoeira training. Or do some muay thai schools teach those really awkward kicks.
HIs name is Sor. Kingstar Sanchae. The kick is an old kick from one of the precursor martial arts to muay thai. No body does it. It is difficult but he lands it a lot even against top level pros.
It looks like a powerful kick when it can be pulled off. There is a middle eastern fighter Eshan Shafiq, I have seen videos of him fighting and he sometimes uses a kick like that. Usually ends the fight in a knockout.
That funny! We have a really old canon xl1 s and a tiny panasonic. We are trying to up grade all our equipment but we have no money. Help us get on TV!!!
how can we help you get on tv man? all your stuff is done very well and if you really have low level equipment then that means you have a high level of skill.
Talk to your neighborhood cable shows . Call their programming director . Show them some clips. I can talk to them from there. We will have 13 episodes ready soon. The quality is high. We chucked all the subcool shows.
@ResidentNinja Hi Resident Ninja. Please buy my DVD for the entire season. It cost $50 for 13 episodes or 39 segments. Ask your friends to do the same. I need money to make my second season.
@fightjapanrc i would love to buy the dvd... saenchai and yodsaenklai are two of my favorite boxers and i mean my dream of all dreams is to perform with that spirit(they have) not to have specific achievements but to always develop tools in my life to plant grow and sustain happiness; "ego brought me to the martial arts the arts forced me to leave ego behind and cultivate love" my trainer was lucky enough to have trained with both at 13 coins and fairtex respectively
great video! very well done sir

Orono is such a character. The references to Muhammad Ali are soo suitable. A true Nakmuay legend indeed.
