you raise a fair point freez, but killing a pig with a wild hog with a knife is tricky, they bite, seeing him jab at it like that is more than likely to avoid getting bitten, but if he had a firearm handy, he should have used it to put the animal down for whatever reason. its far more quick and less painful for the animal with a round to the back of the brain.

I have even read on here where HUNTERS don't agree with what this guy done. Why would someone choose to chase a hog in an enclosure and then stab it with a foot long knife when he could easily have stood 30 feet back and the hog would have stood still and then shoot it with a rifle powerful enough to kill it? Ok I've been an avid hunter growing up since I was little, I'm 34 now and I can tell you that the over population of FERAL HOGS is going crazy all across the country and almost every state is allowing hunting on these pests all year round. As far as killing it he did nothing wrong, but the way he did it was. Any real hunter is just gonna shoot it which is more humane. Getting in there and stabbing it to death is plain cruel and stupid if you ask any real hunter!!
I don't know about Oklahoma, but here in Missouri, we have a 365 days a year season on those nuisance animals. You see one, kill it on site and inform the local fish and wildlife commission. Those animals are nothing but trouble, and better off dead. PETA can kiss my ass.

I don't know about Oklahoma, but here in Missouri, we have a 365 days a year season on those nuisance animals. You see one, kill it on site and inform the local fish and wildlife commission. Those animals are nothing but trouble, and better off dead. PETA can kiss my ass.

A true hunter/sportsman knows that one well placed kill-strike is always preferable. This young man is either cruel or unskilled...or both.
