I'm with LetsTalkDirt. There had to be an old tank or a burried pile of wood in that grass patch. I've delivered septic stone for years and driven over old tree stumps, tiles, everything. Takes more than just soft ground to roll like that. Just saying.
** Fantastic video. I have a few cameras. You are very lucky to have been able to catch this great footage. Aces bro.

1. As soon as he felt it tipping, should've opened the tail gate. Getting some of the weight off may have helped .
2. Shouldn't have kept trying to go backward. Should've tried to pull forward while dumping. If he tried to dump the load, it may have pushed the truck out.
@TheMrAMack If he would have tried to dump it, then it would have been top heavy and it would gone over anyways. Least this way the bed was still there to protect the cab somewhat.
that sucks makes for a bad fucking day especially when you hear cross members cracking it dose look top heavy but the ground seems solid on the first load what happened on the seccond.
On that second run what the heck, is there a bed within the bed, I've never seen that? Looks like a top heavy mess from the get go on that second load.
@phattvids It is top heavy. That second load was the trailer that the dump trucks pull around. They have a special name but I'm not a trucker. (transfer?)
Had to be a septic tank or some thing under ground. Probably just missed it or cracked the lid on the first load. No way tires on sinking side were spinning to dig that kind of hole.
No septic tank. It sank probably about 6 to 8 inches. The driver had trailer inside the box and so the weight was higher up than the first load. The truck and load was many tons.
WHAT TEH HELL WERE YOU THINKING?!?!?! 8 years of driving one of these truck, and I have been in some TIGHT spots, not ONCE have I EVER tipped one over......unreal!
is this fake? seems faked with all the camera views you have goin there. i mean really, who uses that many cameras just to watch a guy dump his load(besides porn)?
Not fake. I don't know how I would fake a truck tipping over. I'm not that talented. I have the camera's and I guess I have a boring life so why not use them.
@adb5258 I can see it. The 2nd time he came back, he got stuck and spun em. When he did that, one wheel spun deeper then the other, causing uneven ground. The side that tipped was axle deep in mud.
was there any water on the ground recently? if so that would deceive the best of drivers. i would of dumped that shit in the street and make the stupid home owner shovel it in by hand. needless to say that damn tail gate was VERY close to hitting that roof the first time the truck was in there. screw that use a skid steer on that particular job. not worth dieing for a truck load of dirt! twenty one years of service. as a truck operator. NOT ON MY WATCH,TRUCK OR ROUTE.
There was no unusual water on the ground. This was in late August after a fairly dry summer. This particular driver after the incident said "not again". It was not his first time over. As far as the roof - The camera view showed it closer than it actually was. It was far enough away. Not on your watch - You may very well be a better driver than this one.
It would be very difficult to set this up. What would it take. Bury a tire in the ground? What advantage would it be to me? A lot of work dealing with the aftermath. And I still paid full price for the load. The cameras? I have them and I guess I have a very boring life with nothing better to do. Thanks for you comment anyway.
hes sat there and spun hi tiers rtying to back up to the pile...it was his fault all the way...im surprised he didnt snap an axl in the first place....
By backing up and forth a few times the soil did soften. No sink hole or sewer line. The ground, again, is level. The truck, was very top heavy so any slight depression through the softening in the road surface will make a big difference in the stability.
I can't believe this has as few views as it does. A video like this which is covered by so many angles is VERY rare. And I also see it's attracted the hate-kiddies ........ as all of them eventually do.
In the US this happens cause they will not hire you unless you are a stupid Italian. I imagine the drivers in Canada are all off season drunken fishing guides.
nothing of the sort. I have the cameras and just wanted to edit a movie. a hobby. I have had lots of dump trucks delivering with nothing going wrong on any of them. This driver said after it tipped that oh no not another, I happened to him more than once but as I said that is the first time here.
Why would anyone have so many cameras set up to be filming such a mundane event as a dump truck unloading material? It reeks of a set up by the property owner who knew ground was soft or something of that ilk.
The guy jumps out the pass. side while leaving the tranny in-gear in reverse, as the driver boogies keep digging themselves into a hole? MAJOR fail. He shoulda just pulled forward -- was he so distracted or tired he lost situational awareness?
@kjellifritt Fuck the driver, I felt it for the owner of the truck.People work hard and struggle to get on, they buy vehicles and trust them in the hands of others but the others do stupid things like this. The truck drove off after 2 hours but for the rest of its life it will always have irritating problems.
