i know you were joking about the "kids dont belong at the ball park" comment but sadly they really dont. The times i go, the stands are filled with drunken louts. I woudnt dare take my young grandkids nowadays unless they had a alchohol free game, which will never happen.
@FriendlyGeekClassics It was no joke. Every word in the video was a direct quote of everything Roger McDowell actually said as corroborated by a ton of witnesses. As a Braves fan I'm ashamed that this bigot still has a job in the organization. He must be best friends with John Rocker.
@SashaNein true. but my point was that even without this incident, the ball park nowadays is no place for kids. There are a lot of drunken louts up in the stands that you never hear about in the papers/news media.
