@ACCFJulia: It's all related to the town fund. You first have to donate 200,000 bells for an extra bridge. Once it has been built, donate an additional 400,000 bells for a fountain. Once that has been built, donate an additional 1,000,000 bells for a lighthouse or windmill. If you change your mind, you can donate another million bells to switch between the lighthouse and windmill.

@jewel7687: You can fish, collect bugs, talk to villagers, dig up fossils/gyroids, decorate your house, sell fruit, etc. Sell whatever you don't want and pay off your house to expand it.

I say that Animal Crossing City Folk is officially better than Animal Crossing Wild World and Animal Crosssing Population Growing, all because of the new items, phases, songs, animals, and even places. I'm cookoo for City Folk! There's only one thing that I have trouble with, the controlls. Insane! Haha!!!!!!xD

@jewel7687 Well, in population growing, that's the only game to do tasks for animals. One way to get started in city folk is to explore. buy a shovel to dig up and donate fossils to the museum, buy a fishing rod to catch and sell/donate fish to the museum, pay off mortgages little by little to, go to the city and auction items, redo your hair, get new emotions, join redd's club, there's even more events too! Basicly, explore, and find out !Start in the city to start the fun! It's awesome:DDDDDDD
