What a nicely made, informative video. Thanks a million! I'm off to treat my sicilian buttercup right now. The only thing I think I'll add is to apply a topical antibiotic powder before wrapping up. Many many thanks for the video!

naww what a calm rooster :) okay now im just wondering what if ur rat has bumblefoot? do i just do the same thing like wash it in salf water and wrap it ?
Our hen has it now in what we believe to be early stages. One foot is a bit swollen with what appears to be a bruise on top, and dark spot on the bottom. We've heard that bumblefoot is a very contagious staph infection that can be transmitted to humans, so we've been trying to be careful; but we're worried on of the other kids might get it. Judging from how I described it, would you say she's still in the early stages?
Of course roosters have their own personalities. the only difference between a chicken and a parrot is about $1500.00 Chickens have the intelligence level of a 2 or 3 yr old child. They are very smart.
By the way this is a very helpful video. The vet wrap is a great idea.
What a nice calm bird. It's a good thing he has health care through his employer.
Bo, the parrot, as the early stages of this. The vet prescribed Silvadene Cream and antibiotics. I would not image he would like foot wrapping.
