I sold my last Saab before moving here to Tokyo. Very sad to see such a great company go down. If only the worlds economy were stronger I think things would have been much different. Regardless I am proud to say that to me Saab was the best car I ever owned. They went down fighting and that is all any of us could ask.
It's hard to beleive how emotional I'm getting over a car...but Saab is more then a car to me I guess, it's different, exiting, fast & soo much more...shame to see it go, (even if I do still have a tiny shred of hope in me) a truley one of a kind car... Thanks for posting iiocke.
I couldn't believe the news when I heard it yesterday. I love my 9-3 and can't imagine driving anything else. You "moved my mind" everyone at SAAB. My thoughts are with all the employees at this difficult time. I pray that 2010 brings some good news. Let's pray.
I think this is so SAD! Cuz I Live in trollhättan and my Mum has no Job anymore, this may force us to move into another city or village. This is just too sad. I'll hope there will be a new Car industrie here in trollhättan, RIP SAAB 1947-2009 :'(
Yeah electric is the future because you just plug in and the energy comes from no where, like magic. And the resources to build the cars and the batteries also come from no where. It's a brilliant flawless plan.
vedderrules: as demand rises, industry will probably adapt in the way of making more batteries and stronger electric grid. Because the technology and capacity isn't here right now doesn't mean it could come in the future you know..
