Ahh, Sparks...apart from their music, song-writing and general sense of style and originality, they are the undisputed kings of song titles. Every one of their albums features at least one that makes me laugh out loud. ("I Thought I Told You To Wait In The Car" being my favourite). Other goodies: "Now That I Own The BBC", "What Are All These Bands So Angry About?", "Angst In My Pants", "Gratuitous Sax & Senseless Violins". Bless 'em.

There was some controversy about this song over it being a jibe at Morrissey. If you listen to the lyrics it's not attacking him, but rather a girl who is so obsessed with him she constantly compares a fawning male who wants her as his girlfriend to him. In fact, Sparks and Morrissey are the best of friends in real life.
