My thoughts: Taking away things of those who work hard and giving it to those who want to be lazy. (I do relize there some who can't but I don't considered them lazy)

At the moment it seems that americans are told "Healthcare or else" anyway and millions of americans without healthcare would rather have it at an affordable price! And again, be careful with all the socialism rhetoric. There are no extremes in this argument. The world is not divided in to the hard-working and the lazy or the haves and the have nots. We could benefit infact from a little bit of socialist thinking and policies.

I dont see GM benefiting being GM the way it is. why the company is going under? Ford/ Toyota/ BMW did not go under. Their products are good. People want to buy their stuff. GM was a huge beeched whale! So what now you let the thing go to the wall so that some incredibly rich people can buy it and kick who ever is left out of a job! The government ownership is the lesser of two evils! Obama has already said that government ownership of industries is not what governments are for.

The problem is that these people see things in black and white. The fact is we have socialism right now and had it before Obama was elected. Part of our taxes are collected into a large pool for social and public works projects. Socialism doesn't mean 100% of your money goes to 100% someone else.

This is my Home Town! Thank You for covering this event this was the first step it the way the USA needs to go! This is a great event and many of my teacher that protested the war in there youth said that this was pointless when all they did was get stoned and have sex in there protest this stood for something and had a meaning it wasn't a bunch of kids it was people of all ages and races standing for there God Given Rights! This is the Change you can believe in!

This is just the beginning. Today, over 1,000,000 people in the USA went to the streets to demonstrate against SOCIALISM and the debt that comes with Obama's socialist policies. This is our money being spent on programs we don't want. We are putting on the brakes and not sending our money to DC for these purposes.
Smaller government. Less taxes. That is what we stand for.
The media, and the President pretty much ignored these tax revolts today. They are betting (hoping) this is a one time deal.
