  • I'm in level 6 :3

  • I think rhythmic is the hardest. Like they push themselves to be insanely flexible. If you watch there training you would understand... They start young, at about 4-5 I think. Then train 8hrs a day, with a strict diet. This is really harder:)

  • super!

  • i can do thiss:) ill make a video soon when my webcam is fixed:)x

  • wow this is even more graceful then ballet

she looks like a fairy :3

  • i did artistic for 5 years then changed to rhythmic and i am in level 8 =]

  • do you have any advice for improving flexibility??

     :)

  • stretch every single day, for at least an hour if not more. They probably stretch a total of three hours a day. I do an hour stretch in the morning, an hour in the afternoon and an hour at night. It's hard but worth it.

  • what time do you wake up ...what about school if you're in school any ideas ...? it's painful...but i've been doing it for a while...and when i don't ..i get mad that i forgot to do it because i feel like my flexibility decreases when i dont stretch ..i constantly think about it

  • it does decrease if you don't stretch everyday. I wake up at 7 but I am in college, so i have later classes, when i was younger school started early so i woke up at 5:30, then stretched after school, and then before bed. Unless i had gym that day then I stretched during class.

  • ooh i would do that but i wouldn't know what to do ...like stretching and stuff....but yeah... this sport is super cooool crazy : )

  • it was good...I WISH I COULD DO THAT!!!!

  • I'M IN LEVEL 7

  • :( i wish i could do all this

  • i do rhythmic in level 4

  • hi I'm in rhythmics and I'm in level 5B

  • Well, it certainly doesn't involve strength. Or brains. Or cunning. Or any other quality that I can think of.

Ya need some amount of flexibility to do that.

  • Well, take one arm, and fling it over your shoulder and just let it dangle there. Then, take your other arm, and bring it around your side and try to touch hands. I can't do that, but pretty much everybody I know can with relative ease.

  • Hella lot more flexible than me, in any case. (Is about as flexible as a rock. Y'know that thing where people link their hands behind their back? I'm missing about a good foot between my fingertips when I try).

  • Pffffffffffttt.

    I could totally do that.

-if I was female, made of rubber, and insane.

  • yeah right

  • Please make note that I am not serious.

  • Is she retired?

  • Yes and I think she runs a "Vitrichenko" RG school...I am not sure. But I luv her very much.

    -Hooby-

  • ok i get that rythmic gymnastics is hard

i mean rythmic and artistic are both hard

like i think that if u put me out there with a ribbon then id fall on my butt

but also if u put a rythmic gymnast on bars thed fall on there butt to

so i really dont think u can say ones harder then the other

  • It's more that people discount it as a sport :| Not that it's harder.

  • wow what team is she on?

  • I don't think she joined any team or group but she's Ukrainian playing for Ukraine.

    -Hooby-

  • as someone whos done both rhythmic and artistic gymnastics: rhythmic is MUCH tougher. you have no idea how hard you have to train to get that good. she makes it look easy cus shes AMAZING, but rhythmic gymnastics takes flexibility, strength, control, as well as hand eye coordination. try actually doing rhythmic before saying its not a sport/gymnastics/hard.

  • OMG that was soooooo good

  • does anyone know how to get that flexible?!

  • most of it is born...some is practice every day

  • oooo.. k thnx. gawsh how great would it b to be born with talent like that!

  • amaazing!

  • People show some respect this is actually one of the greatest ever, Elena Vitrichenko.

And for those saying it's not a sport: I'm SURE your opinion is waaaay more correct than that of the INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMITTEE: because RG is actually an olympic sport!

  • ZOMG. She's so flexible! I can't trained till that standard ever! Haha.

  • OMG GYMNASTICS IS NOT JUST TUMBLING!

and rhythmic is wayyy better than artistic! heaps more funner!

  • What the... wow she's just amazing... i couldn't possibly imagine how hard that girl must train to get to do sthg like that... Congrats

  • I think it is really rude & mean of some of you people saying that this isn't even gymnastics. Give them some credit coz u have no idea how hard it is and how much dedication is needed for RG.

  • jadeepoooo u could probubly never ever do this so u cant talk if u never tried. this si old right? i miss gymnasticss <3

  • I agree with jadeepoooo damit

  • AMAZING!! Great Job!!! I use to be a gymnist, but, never could do that! Great!!

    *Melissa*

  • i go gymnasticd :D

  • WOW SHES AMAZING!!!

  • i meant i dont consider THIS gymnastics . after the but yeah...

  • why the heck do you guys care about the song lol. but yeah...i don't consider gymnastics. i think it's just a bunch of gumbies that can bend anyway they want and have had lots of dance classes. cuz gymnastics is like tumbling and stuff and there was none of that.

  • gymastics isn't classified by tumbling; artistic gymnastics is maybe, but there are many different types. Tht was rhythmic gymnastics, and you will find that USAG, (and most gymnasts) will classify that as gymnastics, and I think that their opinion may carry a little more weight.

  • @jadeepoooo there are two types of gymnastics. rhythmic gymnastics which concentrates on flexability and dance. the second type of gymnastics is artistic. this involves beam, bars, floor and vault. I do artistic gymnastics and we do flips and turns and fly around on the bars. so there is actually two types :)

I hope you understand that because rhythmic gymnastics is still concidered gymnastics.

  • anyone know what song this is?

  • i no every males thinkin it i bet shes good in bed =P and tha shit is wack!!

  • pleas what is the name of this music???

  • :O

    oh my gasp

  • it luks lyk she has no bones!

  • I thought that was going to be lame. But it was actually kool...

  • WOW

  • y du u du dis 2 ppl i hate rythmic gym i du artistic gym its way betta

  • I prefer the rhythmic, personally. Ironically, it leaves more room for personal expression,ie 'art'. 'Artistic gym' seems to involve getting in as many physically impressive moves as you can, at the expense of artistic integrity. Which is fine, if you prefer a firm line between art and sport.

  • ... aie.. mon dieu

  • wow that's really good

  • Good gawwd. Trying to move like that would break my spine.

  • id break every bone in my body!

  • I'd just like to say that was a very elegant and flawless performance. You sure are flexible, very clever routine. I enjoyed it very much. Go Gymnastics!

  • 1 word WOW!!

  • o.o Dear god...

  • she's so flexible.. she's like an earthworm.. lol.. good job!!.. =)

  • cool, just that i hated the people alking on the backround

  • Damn. she's flexible.

  • Wow that girl is amazing.

  • damn shes got skills

  • I wish I was that flexible! She is amazing and I love the funky music.

  • i love her leotard

  • When I watched this I started laughing because I laugh at everything. ROFL!

Thisis a very, very good clip. I really like this gymnast!

  • flawless
