Thich Nhat Hanh be fooled by communist Vietnam!!!

In 2005 and 2007 Thich Nhat Hanh returned to Vietnam to help the communist regime to improve its bad image for religious oppression. In exchange, the communists promised to allow him to practice religion in Vietnam and establish Bat Nha monastery. But in September 2009, Vietnamese authorities launched a violent crackdown on his followers at the monastery, fearing his popularity among the youth could pose a threat to the communist leadership.

Thich nhat Hanh is just a propaganda tool for the communist regime in Vietnam. A leader of anti-war movement in Vietnam war, he turned a blind eye to Hue massacre of 5,000 civilians by Vietcong in 1968 and Vietnam invasion and occupation of Cambodia in 1978. In 2005 and 2007, he returned to Vietnam to help the communist regime to improve its bad image for human rights violations and religious oppression so that Vietnam could gain permanent normal trade status with the US and enter WTO.

Justicehunter, I think if you look at the history you will find that the USA (not "America", just one American country) dropped the war in South East Asia because it lost.  Democracy and freedom in your country was never threatened - in fact it was diminished during the war.

BTW, for your information, Because of Anti War Bastards like Thich Nhat Hanh during VietNam WAR, America dropped the war in South East Asia. And That's Why LAOS, CAMBODIA, VIETNAM, and your country, BURMA fell under Communist Control. People like him indirectly kill Millions of People. And They do not ever apologize about it, EVER!!!! I hate THICH NHAT HANH,he keeps talking about peace like a blind man. Most people think of war as bad and peace is good, but they forget about freedom. Peace without freedom is not peace at all. This Buddhist protested against Vietnam war in which our people fought to defend our freedom and democracy.He avoided to mention about the killings by the VCs during the 60s and 70s to American Public. People like him do not know anything about Peace, and not deserve to talk about it.
