Thanks for posting this very rarely played work. I think it's one of Guillou's best compositions. Schumann, LOL! I can't imagine a greater contrast than that of Schumann's wistful expression of childhood innocence with the horror imagery of Henry James' novel!

This work and his 18 Variations are superb! Two of my favourites.

Many many thanx to biblosz for placing this and other Guillou music. I think this is one of Guillou's best works, so extremely difficult to play but oh so beautiful. Together with hyperion, this is my personal favourite. It's an honnor to hear and see this fantastic video.
