  • i will always remember griffin as the guy anderson silva totally humiliated with a walking back punch knockout haha

  • @Steelers1423 WEDGIE!!!

  • What the hell is that horrible green thing in the background?

  • @matkniv I was thinking the same thing lol

  • great fighter

  • i liked the part where he punched

  • He totally looks like Mickey the Pikey ( Brad Pitt ) in Snatch.

  • @Steelers1423 dry humping the air...

  • Comment removed

  • Forrest Griffin would knock Mayweather out inna second!

  • @MusicSaysEverythinq1 forrest is huge compared to mayweather though so it would even be fair

  • @Steelers1423 Getting your attention :D

  • @Steelers1423 lol adjusting her pants

  • @Steelers1423 The pants dance

  • Forrest is the best

  • I hate all these pussies who try and bring him down for losing to Anderson Silva. You all know Anderson Silva would fuck you up ten times worse than he did Griffin, so sit the fuck down.

  • @Steelers1423 just beeing a girl i guess,silly creatures

  • @Steelers1423 idk but i like it lol

  • @Steelers1423 cooking.

  • Is it me or does he always look like he has a injury on his face?

  • @naru150 actually he does, all the time.

  • @naru150 it's just scar tissue that's built up over time

  • @naru150 yep and i think he wouldnt have it any other way

  • Everybody needs an idol, I think I picked a pretty fucking good one!

  • Lol at the girl in the mirror at 0:45

  • I'm suprised Forrest Griffin let anybody video-tape him training. He's a real cool guy overall, but I heard he absolutely HATES it when people watch him train.

  • I wonder how Forrest is doing now? I hope his stand up has gotten better! :D

  • I like this Forrest guy. Seems like an honest athlete with heart. I am a powerlifter and respect any athlete who has true passion.

  • forest you keep droping your left hand at an angleof 36 degress keep the left at 47 and the righ at an angle of 65. this will keep your opponent from striking round house at an 12 point 35 degree north south stand point.

  • @dellbaz shut up asshole, like you know shit. Get in the ring with him and he'll take your best punch and he'll smile and crush you with one shot.

  • @dellbaz

He would beat your ass into sleep in less than 10 seconds.

  • @dellbaz How many UFC titles do you have? How many people have you trained that have UFC titles?

  • @Steelers1423 SHE JUST WANTED TO BE ON Youtube.

  • Iv'e met him. He's very cool, down to Earth, and a TOTAL BAD ASS.

  • @TheBilderturdGroup true that he came in my gym last month. he is a lot bigger than I thought too!

  • @TheBilderturdGroup

I would add-he's the kind of a guy you know he's in the room when he's there. I used to box and feel confident in fighting most out here on the street but a guy like him is on a whole nother level than what's out here on the street. Only a fool would pick a fight with a cat like that. He's a nice, unassuming guy not a trouble maker at all. He's really cool the kind of person you'd buy a beer at a hotel bar while waiting around. I hope he can get another title shot.

  • @Steelers1423

Lol pretty sure she's just pullin em up.

  • he has to work on punch speed, always been too slow.

  • @Steelers1423 lol, putting her pants back on from what I gather. Just at that moment she was putting them further on.

  • @Steelers1423 haha idk

  • @2DaRescue Training alone is enough to exceed him in physicality, however, matching up to his heart is another thing.

  • 0:45 wut

  • @sangwria His trainer's probably tellin him about how its easier to hit that particular combination from that angle. To me, thats what it seems like they're working on here.

  • forrest is the shit

  • hashahahahahahahahahah lols look at da lady in da backround lols at 42 sec. WTF iz she doin lols

  • what glove ounces are these?

  • They look like 16oz to me. At least 10's or 14's anyway.

  • @boxerfan2 16

  • @boxerfan2 bigger than 10's anyway

  • @Steelers1423 BHAHAAHHA that was embarrasing

  • hahaha good eye

  • Either way view It, Forest has what ever It takes to keep people on their back, toes, what ever, and no one can really predict wins over foerst. Yeah, Spider Is very good, so Is rampage, but be honest, those fights could have checked off any other way with a mistake as easy as letting a kick fly because your tired or think Its out of heads reach. Forest Is the man, so are the others. "tito likes friholaes" Beans or something like that.

  • fixing her pants hahahaha

  • whys the video not working?

  • PLease watch Griffin in other training videos, or him playing basketball, or football, "there not an atletic bone in griffin's body"

HE IS A PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE YOU FUCKING MORON.

  • thank you for your input surgeon general.

  • at 46 seconds in look in tha mirror behind him. check out tha chick air humping!!!!

  • i like his hooks!

  • Read Forrest Book even the book just the back cover there he says that all you need to be like him is train hard.... he specially says you may not get as good as the spider silva because he is one in a million years but forrest is a normal guy who trains hard and i think thats why people like him..

his book is awsome funniest guy ever

  • yeah the infamous asian dart especially

  • @Godpimp sadly people don't like forrest. they try and hate on him and discredit most of his wins. it's pathetic. they don't understand that a focused, confident griffin will beat any lhw on the planet on any given night.

  • (duck in water) i hope im that good one day and i will be if i keep working...

  • just keep training and you will!

  • Teaches you combinations, timing, technique and footwork. Padwork is essential to striking.

  • its a lot harder this it looks. if you go as long as 3 minutes hard pads your arms will be soar after.

  • You train yourself to have better conditioning, endurance, accuracy and muscle memory. Besides the only way to work your technique is to practice and be coached on how to punch better. its effective the same way running is good for a trackstar or just passing a ball back and for is for someone in the nba.

  • good power he never let down one bit

  • griffin vai perder pro Tito

  • i hope titos get all bloody n shit.

  • dude dont talk shit kuz he would run you to the ground and u know it

  • @almostpro789 Id take a beating from Forest Griffin just for the honor of having him on my card...too bad i never competed anywhere near that level rofl

  • I hope he smashes tito's big head

  • I totally agree! Forrest has to win this, or three straight losses are gonna hurt his career.

  • 4oz or 6 oz gloves i beleave

  • wat kind of boxing gloves do ufc fighters use any one know

also deos anyone know if the addidas gloves are good for this type of training

  • 4oz or 6oz i think

  • really they use 4 or 6 oz i thought that they would use at least ten or somthing do u know y they use 4oz and 6oz gloves

  • they use 14-16 oz

  • If you are looking for very good gloves for mitt work i recommend Windy or Fairtex 14-16 oz when hitting mitts most fighters dont use the MMA glvs they either use boxing glves or bag glvs but yeah I use Everlast 14 oz but i would recommend the Windy's or Fairtex for sure!!

  • k thanks wat do u think about the addidas boxing gloves

  • i havent used them personally, but there is one guy in my gym that has a pair he hasnt complained about them so im not sure. Also the ones he has i believe are 12 oz which i also have not used. I use 14 oz for mitt and bag work and for mma sparring i use combat sports hybrid glvs

  • thanks man i bought the adidas and they are 12oz also wats the difference from the 12oz on mitt and bag work deos the 14 16oz work better?

  • were do u buy the windy gloves or faitex gloves cuase i looked in somany places and they dont have i have only seen them online stores?

  • where do you live? I live in Anchorage, AK so there are NO mma shops what so ever here i get all my stuff from Combat sports because my gym has a membership with them or i go through MMA Warehouse. Um and also for your second question i just like the feel of the 14 oz gloves when doing mitt work and bag work. I feel like there is more support and just the all around feel of the 14 oz. Its more of a personal choice. But yeah if there is no store in your area then Combat Sports or MMA warehouse

  • is that a online store or sumthing cause i dont really trust things from online shoping unless ino soimeone or a couple of people who know that u will not get scamed i. i live in maple ontario Canada and there are no mma store or anything like that around either except for sportscheck. deos ur gym carrie gloves and stuff like that and do u have to pay for them

  • My gym has alot of Fairtex and alot of Combat sports brand Gloves. Yeah they are both Online sites but trust me they are very very trust worthy at least for me they have been. MMA Warehouse is even a sponsor for many fighters. My Gym does not sell equipment to us but we have a Membership through Combat Sports and we get 25 to 50% off of merchandise.

  • is there a difference between the gloves you use for sparing and the gloves u use for mitt work.

  • Mitt Gloves - Less Cushion 1 inch cushion

Spar Gloves - More Cushion 2 inch cushion

  • do the trainers require u to have a pair of sparing gloves and a pair of mitt gloves

  • I'm not sure, i just used mitt gloves and my boxing club borrowed the spar gloves.

  • uhmm its not so much of a requirement its just easier for take downs and submissions. Your not gonna submit someone usually with a pair of boxing gloves on haha. Also Sparring glvs for mma are from 6oz to 8 or 9 oz and Mitt gloves you are wanting to use 14-16oz so the diff is the size and also sparring the gloves are fingerless.

  • is there a diffference between muay tai gloves and boxing gloves

  • Comment removed

  • no theyre not atall

  • holy shit that gurl my have the biggest wedgie in the fucking world lol 0:42 n ways forrest is a hella hard worker and has fantastic striking and jiu jitsu id hate having to fight him

  • lol she does!!! HAHAHAHA

  • hahaha 0:42 gurl in the back starts pulin her pants up or something

  • lol i like it

  • LOL

  • excuse me...say what you want, but the cardio level of running cannot be reached in water....simply because you are supported by the water....on land, there is gravity

  • gravity just makes it harder on your joints swimming works just as well and is easy on ur joints or an elipticle

  • They both have their good points, but when swimming you work muscles that you don't normally use that often.

  • so you're saying that there's no gravity in water? lol

  • swimming normaly isnt a cardio work out

  • how isnt it a cardio workout

  • its more of a muscle stamina thing

  • swimming is the best cardio other than jump rope

  • @DublAK2 but swimming is good for breathing and your lung capacity and yer =D

  • go to your local swimming pool and try doing say 6 laps, freestyle (which isnt even a full warm up for a professional) and see how out of breath you are

  • @DNLrider you're definitely right, but you could also tell someone not trained aerobically to go run 4 minutes with a Pro runner for his warm up and they'd be grabbing their knees afterwards if they even made it to the 4 minute mark. Swimming is definitely an aerobic workout but a lot of swimming is in the technique; the crappier your form is the harder your making it on yourself.

  • @DublAK2 yeah, thats true, i agree... hmmm.... i guess just do both? haha thats the best solution

  • britans got talent? man your on the wrooooong video lol

  • its spelt "noob"

  • Man this guy's my role model. Awesome fighter.

  • ROFL dude i love your comments their making me laugh when im having a bad day hahaha

  • lmfao "nob" :)

  • well, thats not what joe rogan and dana white say... in an interview 2 weeks ago for ufc 09 undisputed they said hes a little under 230 walking around.

  • ether way he is cutting to 185 to fight silva

  • He couldn't make it to 185. Silva is going to 205.

  • he said himself he weighs normally 227 or 228 in an interview you MUG

  • its actually 227 or 28 to 205

  • how long would u say i would need to run a day to burn fat? and condition my body for a fightt?

  • Some fighters don't run- so just think exercise- do at least an hour of fast conditioning along with your mma training, and just try to improve strength, endurance and speed however you can.

  • thanks =)

    unlikesome stupid ass internet intimidators

"camdizilefoshizle" some people have valid and important information

  • look up metabolic effect and bas rutten workouts, they are the only full workouts you'll find made for MMA itself.

  • lmfao everyfighter runs to condition, even if its on a tredmill everyfighter needs to have good conditioning

  • Most, some do not. Condition is important, but you can also swim for conditioning. Some guys swim to avoid long term injury.

  • Running is the ultimate in conditioning the lungs and heart. EVERY FIGHTER RUNS. If he's not running, he's not a real fighter.

  • Most do, and i agree it is great, but alternatives can be found, such as swimming. Some fighters like Kenny Florian try to avoid traditional training, and they have done well for themselves.

  • is there anyway i can download this video? i wanna watch it in slo mo hes got great form I could study from

  • Forrest's boxing looks real good he has a real good hook on both hands

  • Forrest looks pretty big here. He must cut like 25-30 lbs to get to 205 lbs.

  • this is probably nothing to him.

    i wanna see conditioning lol

  • you should check out his all access video

    the man is a machine

  • hes got great form and solid jabs.

  • tito got d 1st round,il give him dat but was outclassed an dominated in 2 and 3.wat d judges seen i relly dnt no cos i was shockeed wen dat wanker got d decision

  • anybody out der agree wit me dat forrest was robbed against tito

  • i agree and so do thousands of other people..that was a very controversial fight everyone thought forrest won

  • Hmm, I've asked my trainer about this, and he has told me that fighting with a low guard is dangerous next to a high one.

Btw, I should hope you've never tried deflecting high kicks with your forearm, that would be outrageously bad standup technique.

And when I say high guard, I don't mean so high your ribs are open to attack. My high guard still fully protects my ribs and below.

  • Comment removed

  • When done correctly, a boxing guard protects the head AND body. Bend slightly at the waist, with the lead shoulder and fists pointed forward, and elbows digging into the body. This provides very little target area to an opponent. Check out some boxers who prefer in-fighting and you'll see similar guards. It not only assists protecting the body, but slipping / bobbing / weaving / parrying as well.

  • go Forest!

  • not great striker, not great grappler but HUGE HEART AND BALLS!!!

  • i dont know how he isnt a great striker or grappler, his kickboxing combos are slick as hell and he has great subs and takedowns

  • I think it takes more than a huge heart and balls to be where he stands today.

  • forest is a tank!!

  • cant wait for his fight coming up
