It's ludicrous for these guys to support Obama as an environmentalist for 2 reasons. 1) Hypocritical to profess a green bandwagon yet fly over there, operate choppers and jet boats like a big dog. 2) Obama would get lost in 15 seconds - then panic.

Saw the whole film and did not see the Obama 08 clip in the original. Maybe it was just really quick. Either way, this film was the best one of the night. Kept everyone engaged with the humor, editing, soundtrack, and scenery. Phenomenal. Headed to Amazon right now to buy a copy, and that is something I never do.

Everyone concerned about the political blip at the end needs to pull their head out of their ass. Liberal or Conservative, this film is about fly fishing in an amazing place and I think thats something we can all get behind and agree on. Love the film, bad call on The Obama stuff. If he had any legitimate concern for fisheries he'd shut down the locks in Chicago and prevent Asian Carp from ruining the amazing fisheries we have in The Great Lakes. Instead he sides with the very small shipping industry in his home state.

Since there are many who don't believe the environment is changing due to excessive greenhouse gases generated by us, this has everything to do with the political statement at the end of the film.
