Mothers like this choice so they can sleep through some midnight feedings while also allowing Dad to feel he is able to bond with the child. Either way, the beverage wont even be tocuhed until the diapers are needed, which could take a while depending on the size of the diaper so Mom could even be done nursing by that time.
