  • The Fed era, from 04 to early 07! Simply perfection on a tennis court, I miss those days so much!

  • @neme6ben All of 07, I'd say. He won 3 of the majors that year and was still obviously #1, I think that qualifies as part of the Fed era lol. 08 is when things started to dip.

And I miss those days too.

  • @sasook me too. djokovic and nadal are boring number 1's

  • If Agassi wasn't getting killed in this match, he would have applauded, I think. Surprised he didn't anyway.

  • on break point too...

  • That shot is the best. That tweener at the US Open is nothing compared to this. It is seriously impossible.

  • This beats his tweener passing shots for me

  • Federer just lost 4 matches on this season, including a final showdown with Nalbandian, in witch occasion Nalbandian rallied from 2 sets to love to upset Roger.

He doesnt show the same guts nowadays, what is a pitty for us that love him.

    Allez Roger, you can everything.

  • Fed never played better than when he played against Agassi. He loves playing against guys who hit the ball flat. But Agassi loves playing against guys who stay back, so it was two greats playing the exact tennis they like to play, whereas Sampras was out of Agassi's comfort zone and Nadal is (moreso) out of Fed's. Agassi made Fed earn every single point with ridiculous shots like this. I always think that those two in their prime would produce the best tennis ever.

  • @superman11978 Well Nadal kind of puts everyone outside their comfort zone with his ridiculous spin and speed. I agree though Fed and Agassi in their prime would be one of the best matchups ever.

  • holly cow

  • is this guy human?

  • It's not really clear for me. Federer hit the ball shooting up or back?

  • @leonardodp34 both

  • @mitroveca Ok, thank you. But I analyzed it in very much slow motion. Moving only his wrist, he basicaly did a backhand up.

  • offuck!!!!!

  • 0:25 Agassi is probably thinking "Why the fuck do I bother".

  • Federer was so good during this year that is was nothing short of laughable.

  • Go Roger!!!

  • I remember this match! Those days Roger was just unstoppable.

  • and he still is....

  • returned^

  • how the fuck he return the ball and made it a winner? Fuckin ridicoulus

  • che1609 is not impossible, only Roger Federer can do

C´mon to win more GS and MS

  • che scambio!i 2 piu grandi in assoluto!!

  • This is his best shot ever - how you can play a slice backhand lob with your back to the net - just impossible.

  • I LOVE YOU FEDEREEEEEEEEEEEEER!

    =)

  • oh my GOSH....

man federer is the best EVER....crazy point

  • Agassi should have covered that.

  • Yeah, Agassi should have been a 15m mind (and future) reading giant. That way he'd know in advance where every ball is going, and he'd be big enough to cover the whole court with just a couple of steps either way.

  • Haha roger surprised himself there.

  • The King has risen again!

  • No, the "King" hasn't risen again. "The son of God" has risen again in the form of a little boy named Roger Federer via immaculate conception and virgin birth to a Swiss born virgin young woman.

Lord Roger Federer was reincarnated into this world with a golden tennis racket in his right hand and, early on, performed miracles such as walking on water, turning water to wine, chasing down apparent winners and turning them into winners of his own, and beating mortal legend Pete Sampras.

  • Scary shit, Very Disturbing

  • Priceless. Thanks Federer and Nadal to making tennis the best sport in thw world. Without u guys, would be the worst.

  • and sharapova ;-)

  • Andre said: 'roger was the best rival i've played against.......'

  • one of the best shots i hav ever seen, amazing.

  • amazing shot from fedrer

  • That defies all laws of physics. Only Federer. Only Federer. lol Agassi's like wtf.

  • Federer : Where impossible happens

  • Oh yeah! Show us how you do that with so much class and technique. -.-

  • Well, please be so kind as to give us a demonstration in that case.

  • Still waiting for that demonstration.....

  • Roger Federer is the greatest ever.

  • Regardless of who made the shot, you cannot take away from the greatness of that shot

  • Nadal is certainly better than fed at the moment, and its true fed is not wat he was b4 and i dont expect him to b again. ppl do get older. but i am not sure as to whether Nadal will beat sampras or feds record, cause nadal's game is very athletic compared to fed's or sampra's which was/is more technical. therefore Nadal might only last 2 more years. however only time will tell

  • the next level? and what would that be exactly?

  • andre didn't seem too impressed

  • haha it was break point, he was just pissed cuz he had the pt. won

  • hes wearing the same shirt he wore at the oz 05 its just red

  • Words...are pointless now...

  • wow :)

  • still a pitty that agassi doesn't tennis anymore..

Oke he had his best time but it was still a plesure to watch him play tennis!

  • good one homo

  • That shot was all wrist. Federer and probably nadal are the only two players on tour that put so much wrist action on their shots. INCREDIBLE SHOT!!

  • Federer is so cheeky.

  • One word: Higuma Otoshi

  • only federer

  • That is impossible..

  • nice

  • this is long time b4... dun know can he does it again now... :-p

  • oh my god.....oh Roger....!!!! absolutely ridiculous....and look at the grace with which he does it....time and time again......in my entire life ahead...I am sure I am not going to see another shot like this...

  • just Federer can do this... ROGER FEDERER, THE BEST TENNIS PLAYER EVER!!!

  • absolutely superb R.Federer my tennis idol ever!

  • "Perfect Federer" does it again!

  • INCREDIBLE

  • For Roger's fans: Agassi is a legned so don't go there...I like Roger but it doesn't mean that Agassi legendry postion should be touched...until now he is the only one in the modern era who won all 4 grand slams...I wish Roger or Nadal will do it but until then Andre is a king ....

  • roger 5 straight wimbledons, 5 straight us opens, 3 australians (1 more to tie agassi), 17 grand slam finals 3 of which were french finals

    agassi

2 us opens, 1 french, 4 australians, 1 wimbledon, 15 grand slam finals

agassi has that 1 french but 5 less grand slams overall and he's king? i do not think so

  • He is no way trying to take away Federer's credentials. Believe it or not, any tennis fan is gonna have to accept one truth, whether they like it or not...and that truth is that Andre Agassi will always be the most beloved tennis player to ever set foot on a tennis court. He indeed is the true legend of this game. Someone else said it before, Agassi would have ran that down during his prime...Roger is the best player to ever play the game. However, that will never affect Andre's legendary status

  • Agassi's prime is something that is extremely debatable. Although physically, his prime (of course) was many years before this, his motivation and playing style changed greatly as he aged. Im not asking this as a rhetorical question or anything, but in your opinion, when was Agassi's prime?

  • You're right. Andre's prime is very debatable. I feel that he had two primes.First was during 1994-1995...this was when he was physically capable of running down anything and make ridiculous shots, but did not have the maturity and the desire to win he gained later on. Which brings me to his second prime, 1999-2002. During these years he had the maturity and the desire(more than anyone as far as i can recall) but despite being in a better shape, i still feel he wasnt as fit as 1994-95 agassi.

  • lol Agassi is getting brutally murdered in this match

  • King Roger...

  • Great point, but the quality of the video gets very poor from the middle on.

  • it's u-n-h-u-m-a-n!!!

everybody say that nadal is a physical & fast player(and they right) but still nobody can do what R.Federer do in that point,NOBODY!!!

  • Agassi in his prime would have been able to run that down, and he was usually able to make those flashy backwards shots...but Fed still would have won the point. Nothing human could have stopped Fed from winning that point. Genius.

  • federer #1 from 5 years.

;( iam very sad cause nadal now the #1.

But i still a federer fan.

  • dnt worry its only for the olympic games in beijing that nadal is #1, when they're finished fed will be #1 again, also fed is now classed as the best tennis player of all time, so chill man! hes my idol an everyhthing, hes the best!!!

  • Great roger !

  • incredible just incredible

  • LOl there's so many vids like this of Roger getting unbelievably good points

  • So what, may I ask, is?!

  • i love u roger!!!

  • That is actually the best shot i've ever seen.

  • King Roger

  • stunning

  • most of the amazing tennis points on youtube are from federer. try and find one of nadal hahaha

  • Only on clay for Nadal. And occasionally on grass.

  • that was the sickest lob I have ever seen..roger´s ability is as good as it can get..

  • LOVE HIS EXPRESSIONNNNNNNNNNNNNN

  • Not even a smile from Agassi. ^^

  • I love how he's giggling behind his racket.

  • The Fed is never out of a point!!

  • the crowd starts going on agassi's lob, but explodes after the long lob. thats awsome!

  • Rog cudn't believe it himself. His xpression!! So priceless!

  • roger was like ``no way´´ when he made that lob..

  • k grande bola

  • the best!

  • That sick shot really upsets Agassi. 2005 is the last year before Agassi retires...

Both of them are all times legends of tennis!!!

  • Meme agassi le reconnai il é tro talentueux meilleur joueur de tou lé temps !!!!!!!!

  • Mitico

  • would have been tight if andre did his between the legs shot to counter the sick shot with another sick shot! haha...

  • yah he could have ran that down...

  • love the commentators reaction - "...Is it possible?"

  • he said: "it's impossible!"

  • haha

  • omg could roger be anymore awesome, he's just pure luff

  • how do u make a LOB out of that position?

  • Well, Agassi just never thought Fed would get a shot like that off from there......or Andre figured God had other work to do rather than show up in human form on a tennis court.

  • great shot from roger, but i was really surprised Agassi didn't even try to run it down! must have been tired

  • amazing, Roger is the best tennis player for ever, he's the genius and he's sooooo cute, right? =-)

we love you Fed, shame that in Poland we haven't got too good tennis players like You =-(

  • Agassi was pissed that Federer made that shot! Who wouldn't be? If Agassi had hit that shot against any other opponent, it would have been his point.

  • Let's face it here, a young and determined Agassi would never lose to the same player 8 times in a row. He has too much pride to allow that to happen.

  • well... pride is not the only thing that makes somebody wins...

  • totally agree

  • isit me or do steffi graph and andre look the same! no wonder they like each other!

  • Poor Agassi, he did not deserved this :)

That behind-the-back-in-despair-lob by Roger, was... evil :)

    Ah, missing Kimeke :)

  • Only Federer can do this!

  • Fantstic FEDERER

  • The commenator is so confused by Fed's shot that he begins to stutter:-)

  • Two fantastic players, but this one Roger won, incredible point.

  • Federer beat Agassi about 8 times in a row, something that Pete Sampras never did. Even if Agassi was past his prime a little, when Fed played him, still, Agassi wasn't on crutches or anything. That's an awesome feat by Fed.

  • you said it dude exactly... players like aggasi are difficult to beat even at 35...i mean ppl exaggerate the affect of age on a players in sports..class and talent never grows old...

  • !!! UNCENSORED TENNIS!!!! OMFG

  • sickkkkkkk

  • Oh

    my

    Federer.. (oopps, God) :-0

  • Federer plays badminton too. That's what we call with defensive backhand in badminton. I am a badminton player.

  • um, no I don't think he does play squash... he just happens to be really raelly really good at tennis.

  • Watch his interview with David letterman, where he tells Dave that he played squash n then took to tennis as he got older and stuck with it and I never said that he is not good at tennis, I was just explaining that shot from that position. Ofcourse Roger is a god at tennis.

  • I know, lol I didn't say you did! =P

I just have read his biography and he never mentioned it so I figured it was more likely that other sources would have misinformation. That's interesting will do so, surprised they left it out of the bio though.

  • unreal

  • That's wat u learn from playing squash, that's a deep backhand straight drive retrieval in squash and since Federer plays/played squash, he knows how to pull those out... great point

  • Roger is the god of tennis.

  • Ha, aint that just like a dumbass biassed spick. Fuckin hell man.

  • Haha!!! I guess that's the main reason why Nadal only places behind Federer... ALWAYS!!!

  • agassi is an iranian(persian) last name, he is half iranian and half american BIG UPS FOR AGASSI

If u dont know search for his biography then u belive me=)

  • one of the tv commentators said he was armenian, which i suppose might have something in common with persian.

  • wow just wow, man i just found out sharapova's new man is black. he plays for the brazilian national team. omg well it's no big deal for me.

  • really? that's a bit surprising.

  • yeah i was shocked at first, but i realized after hearing about that guy. that he is really a cool person

  • You can vote for Roger Federer and Andre Agassi on athleit(dot)com, a site that ranks sports stars.

Andre is ranked #23 while Roger is ranked #28. Jeff Gordon leads the poll, followed by Dirk Nowitzki. Andy Roddick is the highest ranked tennis player, at #9.

  • Amazing!!

  • perfection by roger federer

thats why i like him so much because he always seek for perfection

  • SHIT!

  • Just look at what else this man is doing out there. He chips a half court shot to intentionaly bring Agassi into the net! Most players avoid that senario at all costs, unless it's a drop shot. Such an all-court game, genuis!

  • Fernando Gonzalez. Enough said... Federer doesn't like that shot much, so he's probably a little rusty with it and still expected the perfect pass. Gonzalez practices this all the time so he's used to it.

  • Federer could not believe it himself! LOL! He's just sick...hope he'll show us this magic for long years!
