Hardly a masterpiece. That goes for both the first and second games, especially when you consider the storytelling for what is a 'psychological horror' game.

Good games regardless, and great upload.

There haven't been a massive list of great horror titles. IMO Dead Space 1 was one of the scariest games ever made. 2 was less scary IMO, but the cinematic experience was fantastic, the gameplay/grpaphics were much more refined and polished, they added a personality for Isaac that includes some of (IMO) the best voice acting to date, awesome replayability, etc.

IMO I think it would be unfair NOT to call DS2 a masterpiece. But I guess that's just me.

@GenkeiNoHattori55 that's pretty ignorant considered that its taken most of its game play style from the late RE games. Just because a game doesn't have the same story or characters doesn't mean it cant clone something in alot of aspects or have drawn inspiration out of something.

Don't call it a clone, call it a similar gameplay. Well, I noticed that the game is similar to RE in a way, but honestly, I had a different, MUCH, MUCH different feeling when I played Dead Space 1 and 2 ... VERY different from RE .. It never felt like an RE clone tbh.. Not that I don't notice that at all but.. yeah..
