Many people conjure up "proof" so they can have faith in their beliefs. While many religious writings are inspirational, it does not mean they are historically significant (most holy texts have no historical significance at all). I respect everyone's beliefs and I think everyone should think for themselves -- knowing most people cannot separate themselves from familiarity and tradition. In order to understand how the world works, you need to separate yourself from institutionalized religions.
