I wouldn't say this is "cruelty, but if you put the kitten in the snow, and it did not go outside on it's own (like I'm assuming, the dog who was having a blast did) then it really was not nice. The kitten didn't seem to be very happy, and doing something to a human or animal that makes them upset like that is not nice. It's like pushing a friend in a pool in the winter. Doesn't hurt them, but it's still mean.

Have you people claiming animal cruelty ever had a kitten before? We found my kitten at two weeks old abandoned and took her in, she "cried" constantly. Kittens are vocal, regardless if they're happy or not, when they're in pain the cry is a whole lot different. I guess my boyfriend is cruel as well, because when my cat was 6 months old he dropped her right in the snow. She hated it and hid at first, now we have to force her to come in at night when the temp drops.
