got a nice chain breaker/riveter for 50 on ebay used it today worked great
when it comes to somethin as important as a chain i dont want it to break at 100+ speeds the size of the sproket on this thing makes it seem like this bike wont even fo that fast but i could be wrong.
this was also i hollow tip rivet what about soft tip rivets like mine had?
all he has to do now is pop that end peice off the c clap and get a pipe farings tool and take the triangular peice off the flairing tool and put it on the c clap and tighen the clap and u will rivet the link. easy!
I wonder how he riveted the master link without the "expensive" tool ..Maby thyts why the video is cut before the job is finished..2 hammers and your done maby ..Who knows, they are the "experts"
dude seriously ur a retard. i dont even own a bike yet and even i know thats not the way to do it. NO ONE LISSEN TO THIS B**** because if u do u will get urself killed. :) oh i have a question to anyone i might get a 600 as my first bike what do u guys recon??.
oh and hornetbiker, i am not rich, obviously you ride alone a lot. the only rich people i run into on the road ride 30,000 dollar HD's. Most sportbike riders ride sportbikes for one of three reasons: 1) They're cheap, 2) They give you the most bang for your buck, 3) Their complete effen retards like you and this guy who give the rest of us a bad name.
Anyone who puts a chain on like that will get hurt. if you don't want to buy the rivet tool, use a clip masterlink. the clip type is fine on a stunt bike. i ride 30 miles round trip to work everyday so i bought the rivet tool. cost 86 usd and its worth every penny. not to mention it make the job so much easier. This guy is going to be a statistic someday.
If i was on the cheap id have still used my rivet tool you can pick them up for £20 these days. And id have flattend those rivets over, assuming that vortex sprocket is gonna be used for stunting then a chain set up like that is a quick way to hospital, no offence man.
um...He didn' even rivit the link??? If he had the right tool He would of mushroomed the end of the rivit after he pushed it through the chain. These videos are gonna get someone Killed!
Idiots, do not follow any one of these "How to replace the sprocket & chain on a street bike videos". You can do it yourself but these videos are all wrong and dangerous. DO NOT POST DIY VIDEOS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING! YOU'RE GOING TO GET SOMEONE HURT!
If you want to get you're self killed... Listen to Expertvillage. Yet another useless and very dangerous unprofessionnal way of going about repairing motorbikes...0/100 Riding is not a joke.
Mario/Expert Villiage, thanks for the video tutorials. This is 100x better than trying to figure this stuff out from a book. Keep 'em coming! Awesome!!!

@pokahoe Do you have Captions turned on. Click the little triangle in a box at the bottom right hand corner of the video and de-select Captions.
YouTube defaults them on.
So, quit your whining. It isnt his fault phoool...
