My grandmother was one of the first women in Tiger Band, something she was quite proud of. Sadly I didn't have enough time to devote to it myself, but the roar from the crowd in Tiger Stadium when the band fires off the first few notes of pregame can be heard almost 2 miles away down Nicholson drive. Almost like being lifted into heaven by your spinal column.
