The M82 weighs just about 30 pounds (just by itself, no ammo or scope) and its recoil could EASILY knock you to the ground if you are standing up. Most pwople would not want to hold and shoot the M82 standing up. And all these CoD fags need to shut up. Yeah I have to say the recoil on this weapon is not that impressive with all the anti recoil components that have gone into it. This gun has very manageable recoil. I have to say impressive though not many people out there would try this. The weapon itself was designed to take multiple shots not to crank on someones shoulder.

It's funny how the recoil is so over exaggerated. I've actually fired one, and take note I'm only 5'9 156lbs, and the recoil to me is comparable to a 7.62x51mm scaled up by a little. It's a heavy rifle, but the recoil ain't as bad as people say.
