The ancient Greeks - as depicted in their paintings and art were dark-haired and dark-eyed. Romans too. Genetic studies have shown there's next to no Turkish blood in Serbs. Bulgarians and Hungarians are from tribes related to Turks. You're wrong about blonds or the lighter browns being so low among Serbs. Many have light eyes too.
