The opening to hysteria is one of my favourite parts of any song out there. The feeling of energy and power as the guitars soar always makes me think of someone about to parachute off a plane or bungee jump.

This remix takes that energy and genius then flattens and mutilates it into something you'd expect to hear while playing Mario.

That's ... exactly the point of this video. As you may or may not know, Mario was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, a home console released in the mid-80s. It was completely unable to handle realistic-sounding music, because it's sound chip is very limited.

This remix was made to sound like the Nintendo Entertainment System would have made it sound.
