I hope not, this planet almost certainly has a limit along with the sun, if you was immortal (as in an infinite lifespan) one day you'll be all alone just floating in deep space.
The problem of immortality is described well in basic philosophy and that is that nobody would want to be immortal because there is nothing you would want to do forever, humans are capable of boredom so logically even if you can be entertained for infinity you also have to be bored for infinity too.
With that theory wouldn't there be infintite outcomes? The gun blows up or grows legs and walks away? No...1 universe, 1 God, 1 planet with life; filled with retards.
@burningfuse63 By the way.. They found evidence of life on mars... Bacteria counts. I guess your right though.. Only Earth can possibly handle life... Out of the billions of planets out there!
Sureley evidence to this theory would br miracle survivors, e.g. that man who fell something like 47 stories and survived and made a full recovery, that is noy possible but we are in his living world in which he survived. There is a clip on youtube interviewing him after his fall, but yeh. This gives logic to unexplained phenomenons of life continuing beyond possibility.
It's an interesting thought, but impossible to prove. Also, it creates a whole lot of other complications, like dying of old age, having a 0% chance of surviving, etc.
Let me get this straight...does this mean that in some other universe I drowned and died 3 years ago in a lake? Because in this universe I almost drowned but luckily escaped the grim reaper that time.
Whut?? Contemplating suicide after seeing this I wonder....if u shoot urself, then wouldn't that be a written proof that the individual had the power over what they made happen? Mmm....that makes me think of suicide a bit more.....
The problem of course is, that the gun can only hurt you in some universes, and you'll live without a piece of face, or you'll be blind, etc. (but alive). Only constants seems to be "it is you", "you are alive" whatever that means. Otherwise if Many-Worlds interpretation is right, then this is indeed plausible. It doesn't apply only to conscious beings, but to all matter. Other non-conscious matter (rocks, energy) is just unable to realize that it is alive (in either universe).
@MaicoMoon Night Springs is a spoof of the Twilight Zone, it'd be more likely he'd be copying from the twilight zone and not Alan Wake. Quantum Suicide is a theory that every action causes a parallel universe to go off. This experiment shows that when the gun clicks, two universes split off with one universe where the physicist dies, and another universe where the physicist. This is a THOUGHT experiment, you would never really try this in real life. Looking beneath the surface has it's perks.
haha no, we decided to do this 'teaser' in the style of La Jetee (one of my favourite films). Of course the movie will be... uh... moving pictures. Thanks for stopping by....
Here`s a simple way to cause complete consternation in the scientific community, find someone who`s just won the jackpot on the lottery, (the UK main draw has odds of 14 million to 1) and get them to state publicly, when they collect their winnings, that "The Copenhagen Interpretation is wrong."
That would light a fire under a few physicists arses, using just five words.
is that the real my honey

I measured the size of the hole in his head, there's no way an airliner could have fit through there. 911 was an inside job!

Weather? Like rain, hail, snow? Oh whether he dies or not. Sorry I didn't know you were a Ra-Tard...

technically speaking we're all quantumly immortal in different scenarios because we've all survived something

What the hell is this shit? Are you trying to copy Night Springs from Alan Wake? This one sucks.

Sweet. What are you gonna shoot the feature on? I'm also working on a sci-fi b&w indie...
jaybutler24 2 years ago
A Canon HV30 + Raynox wide angle. I'm not worrying about going for the 'film look'. It's alla about atmos and story. Good luck with yours....
