  • Did I catch a gratuitous cameo by you at the end Bob, lower right corner?

Thanks for forwarding this to me, another occupant of my home is still whistling the melody!!! Chuck in Phoenix

  • Glad your friend likes this tune! It IS very catchy. No, I don't appear in this video, but I have a couple of very embarrassing appearances on my channel, which I should probably delete, but what the hell; I have no self-respect anymore.

  • Great video! I love this music, it is so atmospheric.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • blaintheking: So you have also been smitten by this music! Thanx for the comment

  • Great video man I always love music like this it keeps me relaxed.thanks for posting! 5/5

  • BalzacPunk666: Thanks and glad you liked it. Sorry for the one month delay in responding!

  • Bobchai,Did this take place in the park in the center of town?

  • Victrolaman1: Holy cow, I don't know I've missed some comments for so long. Apologies for the late reply. Sonoma does indeed have a plaza, but this benefit concert for the Sonoma Hospital Foundation was held in a very high-end real estate tract just east of town. Magnificent period-style custom homes.

  • No problem,I was just wondering.

  • Really well done...thank you..

  • And thank you for stopping by! I really admire your channel.

  • what a sweet voice!!! i love that. and gee the people are beautifully wearing vintage clothes!!!! wow Bob, this is great!!!! i want them all to come to Italy!!!!

  • vanessathedragon: I'm happy you enjoyed it! The band is still very busy now, and I'm sure they would love to visit Italy. I have much more music which I will put up in the future. Thanks again.

  • It is pretty the music, finds me to be watching movies of those that never happen in fashion! 5*****

  • Pili2255: Never be a slave, una escalava, to fashion, LOL. I'm happy that you like this old music. I present it for young people to appreciate, because it's "forgotten" (olvidada). You will go far in your life, especialmante respecting tradition because it is your guide (tu guia). But always be true (fiel) to your artistic instincts. That is what separates talent from just (simplemente) music. Thank you, and you have my support, always.

  • tdub1941: If this song were pizza, it would be a large pepperoni, with extra mozzarella and no anchovies.

  • I love this Joe Young song! What a lovely day to dance to this beautiful tune.

  • idasynco: Thanks! I'm really thrilled at the response I'm getting.

  • Excellent the Royal Society Jazz Orchestra. 5 *****. Gaby.

  • pili2255: Thank you very much, Gaby. I see you have a new video. I'm going to see it now.

  • Ah-ha...a kid in the audience finally! =)

Another great song....you know I always thought Jazz was something else that I didn't really like. I'm not really sure what I thought it was....I think I thought it was depressing saxophone solos or something. I'm not a fan of that.

Well anyways, I really like all the Jazz you've uploaded so far.

  • Blitzwing00: After World War 2, jazz became something else: the Big Bands had dissolved because of the costs maintaining them, and you had great instrumentalists improvising so much that you often couldn't discern a melody line anymore. Some of the post-war jazz was great; but some of it, I can't listen to, either. I have simple tastes; I like a good melody and great lyrics. That's what this era represents, and I'm happy to share it with you.

  • Exactly, you described so well why I'm fond prewar jazz (not that I dislike the more modern styles)! It could be hot and sophisticated, or refined and sweet, but always maintaining a melodic bottomline, a quality that got lost in a substantial part of later arrangements.
