This was used though wasnt it. Its just the 2001 theme tune with a bit of the melody missing near the start, this was broadcast at the start of one episode in 2001, the rest had the usual 2001 theme - although theres only a very small difference between the two.
This was actually used for one episode only. Can't remember the title of the episode but it was when Tony Stamp used a dating agency, then it turned out his date was a con woman

I love the 1990's version of The Bill theme. That was when the Police Drama was at it's best
