  • Apple will release more advanced technology in the near future.

  • Unboxing videos are fucking retarded.

  • I think it's pretty cool if you're willing to spend that much... i mean people spend much more money on more useless things.... like a $2,000 montblanc pen... and for some people it's just all about convenience... personally after working for 24hrs id just want to put the phone down let it charge instead of trying to plug the little cords in... with qi protocols coming out id see wireless charging systems like this being on every phone in about 2-3 yrs... PROGRESS!!! = )

  • Holy Shit! How can something that comes in a big box like that safe space??

  • I can charge up to seven things(or more) with a powerstrip why do I need this? It's not WIRELESS in any way. You still have to PLUG IT in the wall and you still have to PLUG YOUR PHONE into it. The most Useless shit EVER.

  • The dock works with an iPad :D

  • how???

  • do you get both mats normally?

  • i would rather buy a wire extender

  • can you charge cameras???

  • Can you charge video game controllers?

  • gr8 video jon

  • holy shit...fucking michael myers knife in the beginning

  • Do the sleeves for the devices come with it?

  • You blew $150 for this uesless device but you don't have a pocketknife to open the box with.

  • you dont need a pocket knife for everything nor do you need at at all

  • 5/5

  • this guy is freaking awesome. i get all my help from him lol! HE IS THE SHIT!

  • This is the biggest waste of money since bottled water. I cant believe how retarded this product is....so i can charge my ipod nano by plugging it in the wall for free or spend $150 to plug it in a dock and set it on a specific spot on a little pad wtf seriously wtf im just amazed at the stupidity and he doesnt even mention it he just keeps talking like its a legitimate thing

  • first off dude, if you work at a company where $250 bucks for two of these things and a cover for your iphone does not seem like much money, its sooo worth it. The hassle of having to plug in your iphone or blackberry into two separate places over and over, carrying the charger with you all the time, having the wire spread over your desk / office. instead of all that it might be worth the money to be able to drop your phone on your desk without wires and just let it charge.

    A+ for ingenuity

  • are you that lazy to hook up a plug

  • @stephendoughertyDFVP

its a useless piece of shit... i went to best buy and there was like 20 openbox items of this shit

  • Yeah cause bubble wrap is so worth 200$... Btw im serious... :P

  • also, what the fuck... the first full minute is this dude opening a box... really?? a minute of box opening... this whole video could have been one minute... this is the power mat, it sucks... this is a portable power mat... it sucks too... have a nice day... and worse off they don't even package it with bubbles, so after you spend $200 on complete shit you don't even have the bubbles to play with

  • can't you just plug your shit in the wall with the one fairly small charger the garbage you just bought comes with, for free??

  • Mysteryko how bout you go out and make this material. It's people like YOU that have gotten this world where it is today. How about YOU go out and make some of these things! Do you understand how difficult this is?! People like YOU are just another number on this earth no different than the other people who say stuff like wow it's been this many years and we still haven't made ____. If you want go make it.

  • also will a sprint htc hero work on it?

  • how mutch is it?

  • what a useless peice of crap! Thanks for showing how you got ripped off and I did not. I hope you took this pile of shit back to the store. All you need is car charger home charger = done.

  • why dont you just buy yourself a power strip it does the same thing and it costs like 5 dollars...this is just a waste

  • The Michael Myers butcher knife was some serious overkill

  • Why dont they just make the batteries of devices adaptable for induction-charging. Like they do with electrical tooth brush chargers. Thats wireless..

  • Wireless Charging = BIG FAT LIE; I see a big fat yellow wire = copper = conductor = electrical current goes through wire into connector that plugs into phone.

  • i just use an igo universal charger, it's great! the originaladaper is 20 bucks and tips are 10 dollars each

  • I love my power adapter !

  • One more thing. As a kid, I recall taking the back cover off my toys wondering why the hell did they cut the connection to make room for a battery? Just attach the two metal ends so I can stop giving half my allowance to a pink retarted drum beating bunny. It's almost 2010 & instead of holograms & portals, we have battery dependent gadgets. You mean, you can make a phone with 2-way, 3in touchscreen, 4G network & it's useless without a 5 pronged battery? Even worse is yall cheering for chargers.

  • I assumed this product was really a cut above the rest. NOT!!! It seems like all the Powermat does is replace cords with several adapters, sleeves, extension cords and other useless junk. Is it just me or did the TV ads lead you to believe all you had to do was plug up one mat & lay any device on it? This dude unboxed a whole d@mn Lego set & yall think this is cool? You mean, now I've godda pay for a mat & all these extras? Cords are free! Are there any smart people noticing how dumb this is?

  • fascinating technology. useless application.

  • (3:08) HA HA HA

lets see what else will cum in your box...?

    HA HA HA HA

  • oh shit i thought that to lol

  • Seems completely and utterly useless. You have to plug in the mat and plug in one of those huge receivers just to charge it. You might as well cut out the middle man and just plug in your device. One cable seems much easier to use than using all this bullshit. Junk. I don't see why anyone would buy this, just makes charging stuff way more complicated for no reason.

  • i thought pretty much the same thing. i mean is plugging the device in really that difficult anyway? this looks like a whole lot of effort just to avoid a task that only takes about 2 seconds.

but you know some people just gotta have it because it's the latest thing. i'm a huge gadget freak and i've bought many fascinating but pretty much useless gadgets, but this one is too much nonsense even for me.

  • i just don't get how this even made it to the market. im gonna pay ___ amount of money to plug in my phone to charge it, when i can do it already with the original charging cable. so stupid

  • hey i have that same table!

  • I think the wireless means the device being charged isn't plugged in, but I don't need it.

  • wait how is this wireless if it plugs into the wall? You can't even use it while charging like with a standard cord! STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

  • I'm an angry buffalo

  • yeah pretty unuseful to me, but i guess some people would like the novelty

  • I agree with Sivinhfkdfsjdhfsdkjh, I don't really see this thing being big until all things come ready made for this technology and then basically you could just look at this thing like we look at a power strip today

  • that is the most pointless thing ever

  • until all electronics come ready made for this device its not worth getting. Also until the tech can create a field with a radius of at least 5 feet im not gonna invest. right now this tech is slightly impressive but ive seen more impressive displays of this tech that power tvs or computers and create an AOE of several feet.

  • haha I got more stuff then you when they sent it for me to review!

  • your pretty immature. I don't know why they gave you a review unit

  • @BrandonTechTalk but he has kinda like 17,000 more views then your review

  • This is very similar to the wireless charging base the new palm pre has

  • that really wasnt funny

  • nobody laughed

  • ya your not gay

  • I saw a video for something like this on Xbox Live a while ago, except it was something you attached to your wall and you didn't have to plug it in.

  • @trailrail your retarded

  • It's interesting to see whether this actually works. Nice to see that I could charge my iPhone, PSP and DSi at the same time using to same thing instead of the old system of multiple charging cables. Might have to invest in one of these things.

  • I just see the mat as pointless

  • You seem to add port to a lot of things. "wall outlet port"

  • most stupid invention.... at least when you charge your phone with a cord you can pick it up and use it while its charging. The fucking mat has to be plugged in. How is that wireless... If it was a device that pluged in and within a certain distance would charge... but this is far from wireless... Its plugged in with a cord, and limits use.... if you are so lazy you need this thing... well, than that is sad.

  • @thebryanexperience lol the idea with this is that you just put your device on it and it charges right off. and yes it needs a wall outlet this device is more for fun

  • thats a big knife

  • he has to protect himself from bigfoot

  • I don't think your knife is big enough

  • WTF ???? super wireless charging but i dont have nothing for charging no psp, no smarth phone, no nintendo DS , it is only for people very rich whit many widgets jeje

  • duh!

why else would you buy a hundred dollar charger...

  • hahahaha 3:53

    thats what she said

  • WOAH KILLER KNIFE!?

  • What is the point of this, aside from reducing clutter. Sure, its wireless, but it still has the exact same inconvenience of wires, you still have to plug an adaptor into the charging port. Except unlike traditional (corded) chargers, you can't move your device while it is charging. To me it seems to be an absoloute waste of money and in fact a step down from corded chargers - I can use my phone while its on the charger, and even though it is restricted by the charger, at least it is useable.

  • Exactly, if you still have to plug something into your device, why not just save 100 dollars and plug it directly into a wall outlet with the cord that came with it. The only way I would buy this is if you could just simply lay your device on it and be done.

  • @bsmith8998 lol. and how would you think that should be possible. you need a resiver

  • @dumle29 It is possible bro. Have you ever used an electric toothbrush? It re-charges without having to plug anything into it, it just sits on the dock. They would have to incorporate that technology into the device itself. Im not saying they should do that, Im just saying its bullshit having to buy this expensive item just to have to still plug something into it. You might as well just use the power cord that came with the device and save yourself some green.

  • @bsmith8998 ah you ment when they are built in yeah. then its possible. the idea of this is that you can use youre standard device with it. and i kinda think that the only thing this is actually smart for is the ipod iphone and the nintedo ds because well attaching that cube with a wire is kind of lame

  • @dumle29 Right, that all I meant.

  • lol bullshit on the wireless part

  • i dont get the pint cuz you'd have to carry the mat the cord the squares and the tips thats more than just chargers even if you have 3 devices and chargers

  • wow a fucking knife

  • this just seem pointless as u still need a wire or a casing in order to charge it... it has no advantages over wired apart from acting as a 1 to 3 adapter

  • lol this is the dumbest shit I've ever seen. This is not an inductive charging miracle. Furthermore. If you put the damn iphone on the wireless dock, and put the wireless dock on the damn charging pad, you're basically have a fancy wired charging dock.

Even worst, if you take the iphone dock off the pad, then the dock is fucking useless. Useless piece of shit invention.

  • i think that this is useless BUT its a step foward in wireless charging (even though it is not wireles) lol

  • Looks like a sushi board!

  • im getting it

  • the fuck is this shit

  • Its awesome! But I hate how you have to have their cases

  • This would be useful if devices would have the receivers built in.

  • that is the dumbest thing i have EVER seen!!!!

  • It's completely useless

  • If you need to put an iphone into a sleeve then why have it? It adds no advantage. I just can't lay the phone down on the mat.

  • waste of money why waste 100 dollars on this + the cases to hold the device when i can buy a charger for $10

  • it looks way to complicated and expensive. I would rather just buy a power strip and plug everything in.

  • Whats the point of the little tips? wouldnt it just be easier to plug your phone into the outlet? you're still having to plug something in, rather than just setting it down. the powermat just seems like a middleman for those devices, and the dock for the ipod too. you could just plug your dock into the wall

  • I bet any money this can cause cancer

  • not really impressed

  • So pointless. Its not wireless. You still have an extra thing to attach to the device you want to charge, so its more hassle, more things to lose, more things to go wrong. Waste of money.

  • but the iPhone case looked nice.

you got a protective case and when you get home, you can just drop it on the powermat and it charges.

=> less hassle, a thing you really can't lose without losing your whole device, less things to go wrong (since you don't have to plug anything at all (except for the powermat itself which is plugged all the time, right? ^^)

  • yeah i'm suppose to carry around a fucking psp, nintendo D.S my cell phone some other tech shit and a portable charger? are u fucking serious, im going to look so cool walking around with all that shit

  • RgZspotA Relax man! Nobody's asking you to carry all those things around!

  • 100 bucks hell yes im getting that power mat plus a xbox for christmas =D

  • nice name best band ever

  • thanks lol

  • Interesting! I have heard of this product but never really took a real look at it. I'm curious to see how wireless charging works as well. If it is efficient, this product seems like it'd be worth picking up.

  • how much cash dose this guy have?dose he have a money printer or somthin?

  • business expenses. lol

  • comapnies send him stuff to review, and he gets to keep them for a few days. occasionally they send him stuff to keep forever, and he usually gives that away. he doesnt buy all this.

  • Ohh, But if u can go the distance whit this. About 2 meters. This should be pretty awesome!!!

  • Plugging 3 devices in one plug doesn't mean power saving. U'll still have to add up the powers of the three. Thats called a multi plug. And since this wireless. I amuse u should be able to get some distance. In which case, it uses magnetisms. In this case it is even less power saving. Because u cant aim magnets.

  • Damn... thats really nice professional packaging!

  • what is the cheapest portable usb charger?

  • I wonder how many banks he robbed.

  • Jon is tech-rich!!

  • What is this point of this being "wireless" if you still have to plug things into something that rests on the mat. Seems like it'd be just as easy, and cheaper, to just stick with the original chargers.

  • The point is that you can charge three devices at once with one outlet, very energy saving and space saving.

  • I can charge three things at once too. POWERSTRIP. This thing saves no space instead of three devices on your desk you have a plate there in addition. Seems like a big waste of money because to even get it to be "wireless" you have to buy the attachments for the devices

  • Good concept but ultimately flawed by the need for sleeves and jackets. Once companies like Apple, Sony, RIM etc... develop products with the technology already built into them then this will be a great product. Imagine one charger for everything without the cost of jackets for each device.

  • what a waste.

  • lol 3:10

    "come in your box"

  • lol

  • seen this off a TED talk and he ran a tv of the same principle. kickass

  • I think the point of this is that you plug one of this into the wall outlet for ALL of your devices. Everyone's missing the point. The wireless iPhone charging is just a bonus.

It'd work for me because I'm always running out of space for power sockets.

1 for phone, 1 for printer, 1 for laptop, 1 for printer, 1 for speaker, and my DS, PSP and what-nots have no space unless i plug out other stuff.

  • Omg.. Adapter can solve that problem.. what the hell to spend $100 for that Powermat..

  • i swear, people are just getting lazy that all they want to do is just place their stuff on a stupid pointless mat. its easier to buy an extension cord with 6 or 7 outlets. this thing is just a waste of money, im with you

  • what the hell

thats not the official BIG ASS/OL KNIFE

  • so 100 dollars for something that is basically three plugs?

Wouldn't you just bay an extension lead for 10?

  • haha i was about to say that lol

  • lol@so many negative comments.

  • ???

PROFIT!!1!!111!! (for the company, of course)

  • This is so fucking useless.

  • WELL IT POWR UP MI LIMP 1 INCHH PENIZ!?

  • @tekkenhalo yes!

  • WOOOO!

  • just cook it :)

  • what if you have a case on whatever you're charging? you'd have to take it off..every single time...laaaaaaame

  • i think the only one of those i would actually buy would be the portable one. sometimes in hotel rooms you are limited to plugs and if you have a lot of stuff that neds charging this could help. i could care less that it is wireless, i just like the conceot of charging everything at once

  • i agreed with fearfactor87, at least with a real wire you can pick up your devise, with this it has to be on the table

  • why wouldnt you just plug your phone into your charger? it's the same concept. this seems pointless to me.

  • adapter or cradle, the power matt is pretty misleading.

  • looks to me that this was a product whitout real purpose.

  • wow. are you serious? that looks like a big waste of money. if you don't buy the extra skin for your device you might as well not call it wireless at all! because you'd be doing the same thing you always do!

plus what if you have a digital camera in addition to you other devices? didn't see a skin for that. until they come out with a system that's TRULY wireless, i think i'll stick with my wires.

i'm sure there must be a way to have a separate energy source to charge devices, but how? idk.

  • nice unboxing

  • wireless..not really..i guess it was a good invention but not really...i think it is for someone that has lots of money and wants to look kool..with the girls or the fellas...

  • It's a sweet product but definately not worth the price.

  • "AYE GUYS!"

    LOL

  • Awesome

  • i have the same table! haha

  • Nice watch, (:

  • it only useful if you need more wall plugins

  • it just starts getting to expensive to charge your phone.... lol

  • ha ha ha. yup

  • i dont exactly see the purpose of wireless charging. you still have to connect things, and with this you have to connect the mat, and the device. maybe if you could wirelessly charge while at a distance like at the other end of the room i would get it.

  • Nice watch... obviously making more money with the new technobuffalo stuff ;)

  • hes doing good for himself eh!

  • I was going to buy it but it got terrible reviews on Amazon

  • yay! can't wait for review. I was wondering about this thing.

  • Do you have to buy all of these things to review and unbox them, or do you just have them sent to you, or what?

  • It's a gimmick. It's for early adopters to wireless charging. Seriously those things can only charge 3 products at any given time, they have to be hooked up to special cases.

The portable one seems a little more practical to me then the Office one, but I still think this needs to be cut in half price wise.

  • and how many devices will spontaneously explode?

  • very cool

  • yes got john voice back nt not the nerdy 1 :P

  • could you please lower the audio a bit on the intro?

  • such an overpirced piece of crap. i saw this @ the store i was like neat. then i saw $99 O. no case included......$30well $130, or i could just plug it into my wall......

  • @paintballguy113 the whole point is not have cords laying all over the place. not because its easier to charge it like this. 99 is a fair price. if it was 150 or 200 id say no way. but 99 is fair.

  • gay, not you jon4lakers

  • if any thing, the portable mat is the only thing GOOD

  • this thing is useless, same as plugging my ipod into the wall. wtf

  • if only they could build the sleeve into the device

  • I don't really see the point of it since have to put sleeves around your electronics. That's a bigger hassle than just plugging the device(s) in.
