Interesting how that Fender steel has the name covered. I bet LW or the network wanted $ to display the name on TV and Fender wouldn't pay. I have a steel like that.

There's another version of this song,the LW show did Hawaiian music in 1972....

that episode was in color. This artist repeated his performance. (Do you have

that one? It was backed by the LW orchestra.)

Wow. I have somewhere's around here a tape copy of a Steell Guitar album that Buddy Merril made way back in this time period. Buddy was an amazing musician, and thank you so much for posting this. Favorited, for sure and all kinds of "thumbs up" on these vids........Thank you!
