Not everyone can scream. My girlfriend cant scream. Most people can but not everyone. And I can scream like Jimmy also but then again i can scream like BMTH pray for plagues, to bless the fall Black rose dying. It just takes time. If it hurts when you scream you can try to things, Drink WARM water or room temp water before you scream. Or find a new way to scream if you dont want to destroy your vocal cords.

Who the hell told you that? To be a good screamer, you have to learn to do it from your diaphragm, just like singing. Otherwise it'll seriously fuck up your throat (it's also quite painful).

HAHAHA i love how people say "you have to sing from the diaphram" because that is a common mis conseption. You cant SING from the diaphram its impossible. The diaphram is like a little sideways boat near you lungs. Now when you take a deep breath you diaphram evens out and pushes some of your guts out a little. Thats why you get bigger when you take a deep breath. Singing from the diaphram basicaly means take a low deep breath. Its also called breath of expectation. And you can get blisters. :D

It's not a misconception, it's an abstraction. You don't literally sing from your diaphragm, but that's not what people mean when they say it. When you sing or scream properly, you'll feel it in your chest...right around where your diaphragm is.

He left back in 05 to get married. He's recently joined another band, Trenches. They dropped an album recently but it's NOTHING like HTD. You can still hear it's Jimmy but that's where the similarities end. Trenches is...something else. I'll leave it at that.
