Dude, are they idiots? No offence, but the 3T22 HAS to be on its full voltage to really work like a siren, or the sound won't even go half of a 1/4 of a mile. DUH
@TheLakemillsfire It's running slow because it's a single phase version running on half of the required voltage (it's a 240V siren running on 120V). From what I've heard about what happens when they try to run it on 240V, the brushes in the motor are set too far advanced with the angle of commutation, causing it to spin too fast and burn up.
