I have been told she is no longer at Cosmo. I also know there is a great number of people that no longer want to buy there material because she is not singing in the choir. She was VERY instrumental in record sales as well as helping to put them on the map. If you notice the songs she sing typically are the ones they play on the radio.

It's something how on a lot of music compilations you will see ie. Dr. Charles G. Hayes & the Cosmopolitan choir singing -
and the trip out part about it is the Pastor is not singing not one line. Pastor Jim Jones & the Ever Ready Baptist choir singing - and again no singing from the Pastor he just show up and dance or shake his head and get top billing for doing nothing and top dollar for again doing nothing. I have found out in my own experience that some Pastors will pimp you if they can.

I don't care what anyone says (I'm sure I'll receive a comment after this posting) However that song was written for Diane Williams...She worked it - Girl was on the floor singing like crazy. Sing Diane!!! I'm on my way to the gym; can't seem to stop playing this video.

All I can say is this performance is the most moving the most uplifting performance of all time! Just old time religion! Everytime I watch this I get a feeling in my soul that I can't describe. This is church! I love the call and response and most of all the washboard! Everyone is just awesome! God Bless everyone in this performance! spectacular

ohhhhh yessss...! the washboard indeed wow that brings back memories to me from my childhood going to church with my grandma, the washboard was and should continue to be a staple in the black church, the bible says make a joyful noise unto the Lord that includes our voices and any instruments we can get our hands on including the ever popular washboard after all the washboard was a main staple in all black homes many years ago someone just figured out another use for it ....lol Praise the Lord..

I'm not a ignorant person myself and have study many translations of the Bible being that there are so many versions due to peoples tranlations but what I've come to learn is that what is important is living a life that is real what ever you beliefs are just live life the best you know how, for only one is perfect and HE alone will judge. Sometimes we get to caught up in history and not spirituality.

That may be true. But the majority have a very "tike" understanding of spirituality. All because they haven't been able to see past their indoctrination. In order to reach these "tikes", one must begin teaching a more accurate history of all religion. Otherwise, you find what is going on today. I have one question, when did we as saints star judging others ministry? The same could be said of Tye Tribbet, Kirk Franklin and many others! If you're caught up on the "showmanship" you won't get delivered no how! This is a new time in Gospel, people wanna see emotions and demonstration of the gospel! It's something how on a lot of music compilations you will see ie. Dr. Charles G. Hayes & the Cosmopolitan choir singing -
and the trip out part about it is the Pastor is not singing not one line. Pastor Jim Jones & the Ever Ready Baptist choir singing - and again no singing from the Pastor he just show up and dance or shake his head and get top billing for doing nothing and top dollar for again doing nothing. I have found out in my own experience that some Pastors will pimp you if they can.
