The only reason it's not considered "pro" by the industry is because the industry is retardedly biased and giving Apple blowjobs to the point that anything on Windows is considered unprofessional. I do professional wedding videos, and I can finish editing a 30 minute video within just a few hours, and the quality is perfect. Yet I can't apply for any other video jobs, because they all decide to use the exact same thing, FCP, as if Apple has a Monopoly of the video editing industry.

I'll tell you what I think; People who use Mac's buy them because they don't know jack about computers, aren't really gamers, or afraid of getting infected by viruses in 2 seconds. @xjose117x I know that Steam is on Mac, I just ran out of characters in the previous comment. Even though it is on Mac, most of the major PC games are still only available on PC, although Windows can run on a Mac really easily. There are lots of monitors that have a higher res. than the 27" iMac (most 30" monitors have 2560 x 1600 res.) Also, many premium monitors, such as BenQ's and Samsung's, are often much better than Mac screens IMHO. iMac screen is nice, but I prefer non-glossy screens.

Then win 7 came out and it was great but when I bought my iMac with snow leopard I realised how much more superior Mac is, everything is built to work with Mac and I think windows should stop trying to hard, because all they do is copy and make mistakes. they should chill out, take a break and start a fresh for windows 8 or what ever is next. Thats my opinion :)

He really should mention Sony Vegas, i've used Premiere pro CS3 and have chosen Vegas Pro 8 as it's much simpler, IMO more control and just shows you everything you want to see, and nothing you don't. Plus i've found it runs much more smoothly on a quad-core than Premiere.
